  1. I like The Who. One of my favorite bands. I was really surprised when I first heard the band playing. My favorite album is Who's Next. I think all members had and still have something special and unique in their playing and performing. In my opinion, definitely one of the best and most important bands of all time. The Who rocks. :D

  2. How's it going "Black_Dog?" I'm glad that you enjoy listening to HEART'S music! HEART will always be considered as one of the all-time greatest bands containing two of the greatest frontwomen in all of Rock n' Roll! ROCK ON!

Hey ZeppFanForever. I agree about Heart. The band is awesome. :D

  3. I like Black Sabbath. One of my favorite bands. My favorite period is with Ozzy, but I like others too. My favorite albums are: Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master Of Reality, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Vol. 4 and Heaven And Hell. My favorite songs are: "Black Sabbath", "N.I.B.", "Iron Man", "Paranoid", "Children Of The Grave" and others. When I first heard Black Sabbath I was really surprised but scared too. One of the greatest bands of all time IMO.

  4. I like Kiss. I like his older albums the most. I don't like them now as much as I liked them before. Today the became too commercial with all that merchandise and crazy products, but it's OK. My favorite albums are: Destroyer, Kiss, Rock And Roll Over, Love Gun and Alive!. My favorite songs are: "Detroit Rock City", "Black Diamond", "Rock And Roll All Nite", "Love Gun", "I Stole Your Love", "Shock Me", "God Of Thunder", "I Was Made For Lovin' You" and others. In my opinion, Ace Frehley is great guitar player. One of the best guitar players I've heard. His style is similar to Jimmy Page's style.

  5. First of all, I love Robert's voice. It's hard to choose a favorite.

    "Since I've Been Loving You"

    "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"

    "Communication Breakdown"

    "Whole Lotta Love"

    "Stairway To Heaven"

    "Black Dog"

    "No Quarter"

    "Kashmir"

  6. I think it all depends on what you like. Personally, I like Pink Floyd and I think it's a very good band. Sometimes, I'm in a very good mood for listening to Pink Floyd. But I think they're kind of overrated. I like psychedelic rock. It's all a matter of taste. :D

  7. The best and the greatest guitar player in my opinion. Actually, Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix are my favorite guitarists. My favorite album is definitely Are You Experienced?, followed by Electric Ladyland. My favorite songs are: "Purple Haze", "Foxy Lady", "Hey Joe", "Little Wing", "All Along The Watchtower" and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". I think, like many others, there will never be better guitar player anymore.

  8. A book that I would highly recommend to any amatuer or advanced astronomer is "Horizens". the auther, Michael Seeds is unequaled in his ability to deliver information. Any of his books are going to give you some great knowledge. I have to dig up mine. It has astronomical charts of the night sky based on the time of year. Masses and make up of planets. Methods of determining the distance to planets and stars. Defining stars. Young stars which are blue or white stars as opposed to old stars that are red/orange and breaking up. Good info on time and distance, measured in what is know to be an astronomical unit. Distance in outer space is measured in astronomical units. One astronomical unit is the distance from the earth to the sun. Once you have a grasp of time and distance, you will be far more likely to believe that there is probably other life out there. Whether intellligent or not. But you will be far more skeptical as to whether we have been visited by these UFO's. For us to reach an inhabited planet we would have to reproduce on the space ship. We have some very good ideas to reach speeds that so far we have only been ablel to dream of . One such idea involves increased acceleration with a type of domino effect. But there would be many risks. Asteroids for instance that could instantly obliterate the ship. Astronomy is a fascinating subject. So too is oceanography. So anyway, if you have the interest go to a library and take out some books by Seeds. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for you recommendation. I think I will try to get it if I ever get a chance.
