ally
Studio Success Due to the People, Songs WOW !!! You never cease to amaze me Jahfin. The last recording I had from that studio was a release I found in the late 70's of The Muscel Shoals Band doing Gamble and Huff. Great album
beatbo
stanley booth wrote an excellent behind the scenes report of the rolling stones first recording session there. booth was also a friend of jerry wexler, who with ahmet ertegun, was trying to sign the stones to a new recording contract and had arranged for the recording. also on hand was jim dickinson, who played piano with the dixie flyers behind some of atlantic's greatest acts. jim was a long time friend of booth's, who had mentioned the flyers to wexler, causing a maelstrom of personal upheaval for all involved, but causing some great music in the interim... this chapter alone is woth the price of booth's excellent book "the true adventures of the rolling stones" among other names (dance with the devil)...
