spiralsong Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I have it on good authority that at some point Led Zeppelin spent a week with Dr Edward de Bono - a creative thinking guru - helping the band take a fresh look at their lyrics / music... Does anyone have details of this meeting: where, when, how long, and which album did it contribute to (if at all)...? Could you provide additional links or corroboration of your info? Thanks Quote
Aquamarine Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I have to admit this doesn't sound very likely to me. De Bono was the guy behind the whole "lateral thinking" idea, and I can't see any point at which the band's music changes significantly from that point of view--in fact, it's hard to see how it would apply musically, except in the very general "think outside the box" sense (which they'd always done anyway). Could easily be wrong, of course! Quote
I have got a horsey Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 lol, I didn't realise De Bono was another Eugene Landy... Quote
