I have it on good authority that at some point Led Zeppelin spent a week with Dr Edward de Bono - a creative thinking guru - helping the band take a fresh look at their lyrics / music... Does anyone have details of this meeting: where, when, how long, and which album did it contribute to (if at all)...? Could you provide additional links or corroboration of your info? Thanks

I have to admit this doesn't sound very likely to me. De Bono was the guy behind the whole "lateral thinking" idea, and I can't see any point at which the band's music changes significantly from that point of view--in fact, it's hard to see how it would apply musically, except in the very general "think outside the box" sense (which they'd always done anyway).

Could easily be wrong, of course! :D
