Wolfman
I had the best time Tuesday night as I finally got to see Ray Davies live. I've always been a fan of the Kinks so this was a big thrill for me. He really seemed to be enjoying himself and the crowd was really into the show from the second he hit the stage. Very funny guy too as he likes to tell stories about each song. The band was fantastic and the setlist was just about perfect. Here's a review of the show and the setlist. Btw, I never knew about the paper plates thing and the Kinks (the crowd throws paper plates with their requests on them). Very cool show that left me with some nice energy afterwords (where you just wanna call your friends and let them know how much fun you just had). Also, the Wellmont is a great place to see a show. Not a bad seat in the entire place. Here's hoping there's a Kinks reunion in the near future. Just in case it never happens, I'm seeing Dave Davies in February.
