I took this on 9/21/08:

While I was standing outside the building looking up at it, one of the doors opened & an old guy came out- I was very tempted to ask him about what it looks like on the inside, but I figured he's probably been asked that already by a bunch of other crazy Zeppelin fans so I didn't bother.

it seems the other building looks repainted or something. i wonder why THIS one isnt ;)

96-98 St Marks Place is not only a famous Zep Place- it's a famous Rolling Stones Place too. You might recognize these steps from the Stones' "Waiting On a Friend" video:
