zosoman11
Anyone have any information when Jimmy was with this band or why it was only an offshoot? Thanks in advance.
swandown
It was a Bill Wyman side project. Jimmy and Bill hung out quite a bit during the ARMS tour at the end of 1983, and Bill asked Jimmy (and Paul Rodgers) to contribute to a couple of the songs on the Willie & The Poor Boys album, which was released in early 1985. Jimmy's participation did not go beyond playing guitar on "Slippin' And Slidin'" and "These Arms Of Mine" (plus his appearance in the video for the latter song). The album was released April 25, 1985. The video was filmed at the Fulham Town Hall on June 24, 1985.
zosoman11
For some reason, I really enjoy the early 1980's Jimmy Page. Probably because it is the least covered. Thanks to all. Shame this was only a one time event.
