I'd also like it if Jack were to work with Jimmy, them actually creating music together. How about a blues-talent like Joe Bonamassa? Joe Bonamassa? Now to be fair I'm not really up on much of his work but I think that might be seen as a controversial pairing with some people. To some JB is an untouchable blues God and to others a vanilla, electric blooze guy. He always seems like a nice, grounded guy in interviews though. I'm more aware of JW's output, and would agree with him pulling off the classic yet different approach, at least (to my ears) in the early days. A sort of 21st century porch blues. Maybe if Robert and JW collaborated they'd use the opportunity to really pull something different, creative and special out the bag. If so I'll happily eat my words!
