[The Love That I Found]

I think this is my favorite of the companion discs thus far. Every track has something to offer. The backing tracks for Evermore and California are simply gorgeous, and the most pleasant surprise might be the UK alternate mix of Levee. What a drum sound! And I love the additional panning towards the end. At first, I was thrown off by the lack of the electric guitar at the "don't it make you feel sad" part but, all in all, I think this mix is spectacular!

I've been listening to the companion disc and it seems like theres a matte finish on the heavy stuff...black dog, misty mountain hop, four sticks, when the levee breaks...sounds great. Almost like a step to physical graffiti/steve albini sound. Also it seems like the vocal is lower in the mix on black dog and i like how the keyboard is higher in misty mountain hop, cool effect.
