AussieOzzieZeppfan Posted October 11, 2023 Share Posted October 11, 2023 According to Jason Bonham his old man used his 1970 green sparkle Ludwig drum kit, As when recording Jimmy Page's "Outrider" album, Jason used his old mans 26" green sparkle Ludwig bass drum, The recording engineer was the same who recorded Bonzo on ITTOD sessions. sixpense Posted December 20, 2023 Share Posted December 20, 2023 There were two kits in the studio. (see photo from book of ITTOD Super Deluxe) One green kit and one silver sparkle. One of the kits doesn't have the skin on the front of the bass drum while the other does not. It was the first time (per Page) that they recorded his drums without the skin on the bass drum.
