pinky Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 Well as I've said before I have a Peavey 5150 half stack but it just doesn't give me the sound I want it is way to metal with way to much bite and I want a Marshall half stack would I be able to make a trade at Guitar Center for a Marshall? Or if anyone has some tips for a better sound please help. And by the way turning down the gain won't help as I already play on 6.5ish and it still has too much bite even if it's on 4 or something and if it helps my settings are: Lead Pre Gain: 6.5 Low:4 Mid:5 High:10 Resonace:6 Presence:10 Any help greatly appreciated. P.S. I'm not a spoiled rich kid who's not happy with anything I'm not even close to rich or anything like that I just don't like the amp (wich was given to me for a 50 size dirt bike).
