LidlessEye
I've been a big Zep fan since I was 15 ('79), but I've never read a book about them. What are the best, most reliable ones? Peter Grant's for one, I'm sure.
Cactus
Chris Welch's Peter Grant book is quite good. To answer your question, we need to know what aspect of the band you're most interested in. There are plenty of informative, if sometimes a little dry, biographies of the band. There are also some unreliable yet sensational books too. There are books focusing on the lyrics....all sorts of stuff.
