  1. Looks like they didn't renew their domain. Jason may have owned it and now that he's gone, the administrators may not have access to renew it.
  2. Thanks. Having spent a lot of time with this recording recently, I can definitely see why the band decided not to release this and put out HTWWW instead. However, there are some nice moments in this show. My current favorite part of the performance is The Rain Song. The intimate venue seems to mesh well with the tone of the song.
  3. 5/30/77 is on the list, but that list is getting long so I'm not sure when I'll get to it. And as it turns out, the next show I'm doing is 1/22/73. I didn't think I could add much to it, but being able to split the songs into individual tracks let me raise the level of Robert's voice so his vocals now mix well with the instruments. I was also able to split Jimmy's guitar so it's in both the left and right channels, which really fills out the sound. Here's a sample:
  4. I tried again this morning and did not get the security warnings.
  5. I just got the warning message too. In Chrome, it happened before I got to the home page. In Safari, I was able to get to the home page but when I clicked on a link on it, I got a message similar to the one below that Chrome showed. 6. San Francisco 27/04/69 Vol. 1&2 (Kaleidoscopic) This was the first version of this show I ever heard and it got me hooked on bootlegs. The stellar version of As Long As I Have you is one of my all time favorite live Zep performances. Throw in other unreleased songs alongside killer performances of Zep classics , all in excellent sound quality (at least on the first disc), and I'm still a fan of this 20-something years after I bought it.
  7. And this guitarist goes by KANAMI. The band she's in is called "Band-Maid" (the name and the costumes are sort of a Japanese sub-culture thing.)
  8. The name of the band is Asterism. The guitarist is known as HAL-CA. She was 16 when this was filmed last year. The bass player and drummer are brothers, and were 17 and 18, respectively.
  9. With inflation, $8.75 in 1975 is $41.93 today. Assume $1.25 in taxes and box offices fees and that $10.00 is equal to $47.92 today. So US$50 or so to see a band of Zep's stature doesn't sound bad. However, getting those seats meant sleeping out for a few days and being lucky enough to be at the front of the line. Assuming you couldn't do that but still wanted to see the band, you were probably looking at paying at least double that price from a scalper, so $20, which is almost $100 today. Still a bargain when the Stones and other big bands now charge five times that. The thing is, the reason they can do that is because their main audience today is old people who have the money to pay that much for a seat. Back in Zep's day, the tickets were mostly going to young people, and they typically don't have as much money as older people. So if Zep tried to charge $100 back then (around $500 today), they'd have been playing to mostly empty arenas because their primary audience couldn't afford to see them. 10. I've already got 5/26/73 broken into individual tracks and have done a lot of remastering on it, so it's the leading candidate from '73 because of that. I haven't listened to 5/13/73 recently. I'll see if I can do anything productive with it. I also tried 5/31/73, but wasn't terribly thrilled with the results. My main goal with the Stereo Project is to hit as many of the famous shows as possible before I run out of steam. That's why 4/27/77 is on the list, even though it's not generally highly regarded. I'd also like to change the perception of that particular show, because I'm finding the performance a lot more impressive than I did in the past once I improved the sound a little bit.
  11. I have tried it and it sounds OK, but not as good as the 29th. It's such a good show that I'll keep working on it, but it will be a while before I figure out how to get it to sound good enough to release.
  12. I'm still figuring out what to work on next. Current candidates are 5/26/73, 7/28/73, 3/21/75, and 4/27/77. What I normally do is make some trial runs on each one and then keep going on whichever one is working out best. You'll notice there are no 1980 shows in that list. I've tried to remaster multiple shows from that tour and I can't make them sound any better, no matter what I do. They don't respond to the things that work for the other tours, so I'm not sure I'll ever get one to the point where I'd consider it worthy of release.
  13. The tide has turned for the better. Soundboards can now be remixed into stereo and remastered. It still takes some work to bring out their best, but technology has made it much simpler.
  14. I believe he was trying to have each companion disc feature music that was contemporaneous with the original release date of the album it was accompanying. Because of that, this show would have been too far away from the first album to qualify.
  15. Thanks. It took a while to finish the remaster, but I'm happy with how it came out.
  16. Here's my buddy's review of the show: http://www.oldbuckeye.com/prox/p15.html. He's the same guy who wrote the stellar "Evenings with Led Zeppelin" book with Dave Lewis.
  17. Thanks. I had a friend who went to this show, so it's one of the ones I'll eventually be remixing into stereo.
  18. I sent you a private message with the link. You should see a notification at the top of the screen. Click it and it will bring you to the message. Also, you might want to edit your post here and remove your email address. It's not something you generally want to post on an open forum like this one where anyone on the internet can find it.
  19. Thanks. The credit for that really goes to Jonsey and Bonzo for being such a great rhythm section. Also, hopefully everyone who has requested a link so far as gotten one. If not, let me know.

  21. I finished the stereo remaster of the Sept. 29, 1971 soundboard. Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on it. Here's a sample. If you want the full thing, send me a message.
  22. How about "Black and Blue and Snot All Over" from the Chronicles of Led Zeppelin label?
