  1. I dont understand why doctors are so quick to medicate for patients that clearly have cognitive disorders.

I mean exercise, proper nutrition and focusing on the joy of the present seems to go help much more than medication

Maybe they don't want you to get better just keep you on the program.

  2. Thanks for the welcomes, that is indeed at the Hard Rock Cafe. I think I've been to.. three or four of them now and my brother and I always go around and take pictures of everything. That drum kit is the coolest thing I've seen though. (Les Paul signed by Page/Plant probably in second)

The plaque there reads "In Robert Plant's words, 'When Bonzo was playing this kit in the '70s he would shout "Here come the cannons!" John sold me these drums for $500 despite the fact that they had been a promotional gift from Ludwig and cost him nothing! Good humour, good times, good music.'"

So I guess the cymbals aren't his usual ones since it was a promo gift..?

I love that.. "Here come the cannons."

Well, I like the picture anyway's ...But, I'll bet that they just got a hold of the drums. As being the Ludwig drum company does not make cymbal's (to my knowledge). From the looks of it's badge, the stand with the crash cymbal on the right is from the mid/late 70's or early 80's. The one's from the late 60's had blue and tan at the top and a gold trim, this one is more silver looking trim (like the one's from the mid/late 70's) with blue and brown panel's. It may just be the lighting at that angle.

I can't tell to well from the picture if the snare is wood, steel or transparent, I think Johns kit had a steel snare.

This would be the kit he used from the 2nd and 3rd album era.

This is from the later Song Remains the Same time frame.

All the early pictures (I've seen) from the first show's have him playing a set of Marine Pearl (white) Ludwigs.

I'm sure he had many sets and was gifted many.

I spell it like that because I like it that way.

  3. I like both bands but, I will say that Led Zeppelin is more of a different band.

It is true that AC/DC has a more basic beat and guitar structure but they have there moment's.

Ever heard the import of TNT or the early live stuff? I've got'm and they are really good! I'd rate them up there with any of Led Zeppelin's normal (if you can find any) Blues track's.

I can't show favorite's here, there is so much from that time frame that is so good.
