  1. Me, My sister and mum went out for lunch, to be outside the unit and to be with us is a big step for my sister, we've been talking about stuff, of course there were some moments when she was unhappy but normal, she didn't eat much but not the point, point is she is improving and we think that she is nearly ready to be let loose back home.

This morning we learnt that she has been self-harmng herself (how is good?) well she admitted it, she told me mum this morning, this is the biggest step she has taken, to tell us what she is feeling and what she has done in the unit, and anything she doesn't have the confidence to tell mum she will tell me which I have to tell mum, oh and she has improved in playing Pool :D

Hi, JAL! I'm so happy to hear of your sister's signs of willingness to [gradually] open up. That's great! You're so right--it's a step. Oh, and tell her to pay attention to those perpendiculars & good luck on those bank shots! I just wanted to mention again what a valued sister you are for taking such a significant role in her recovery. :)

  2. The original or remake?

Hi ninelives! The remake. (Sorry, I should've mentioned how great Denzel Washington and John Travolta were as well as the supporting cast: Gandolfini & Tarturo) Riveting throughout. Just like the original in that regard. It was a thrill to see my neighborhood in some of the scenes! :) And I do love seeing movies at the cinema. The audience reaction is an important part of my movie experience. I give it a ...

(I live only a couple of subway stops from the movie house. Needless to say, I walked home.) :P

Hmmm? Travolta vs. Shaw? Dunno: both have their own takes on the villainous character.

  3. My sister has been taken back into hospital tonight, earlier she stopped breathing for a couple of minutes.

She is very very mentally ill and depressed, at the moment she is suffering from Physcosimatic (sp?) illness which means that the pain that she feels is real to her but it's her mind playing tricks on her, not to mention one of her legs has stopped working aswell.

But hopefully she will be back tonight.

Oh no...dear JAL. I'm sorry to hear this. :( JAL, she's so lucky to have a sweet sister like you. Hopefully, she'll be home tonight. I know this is taking its toll on you and your family. I earnestly send my best wishes and prayers toward you all. :console:

  4. :toast: It is Friday :cheer:

Ha ha! I'm celebrating with my third bottle of beer. [hiccup] :P:beer: Hey, I swear, it is nice to have some downtime! :D"How dry I am..." Hmmm...think I'll listen to some good ol' Simon & Garfunkel albums.
