    One of my faves...anything with Barbara Stanwyck is worth watching. Love that dame.

    Not familiar with this one...please clue me in when you get a chance?

    Blue Bloods is a cop show on CBS..been on for about 3-4 years. Tom Selleck plays the PC (police commissioner) of NYC.

    Sunday is a usually a day for me to chill and plan the week ahead...though I don't always make a menu til Friday..haha

    Baked potato and bacon soup..in my new Vitamix blender...love!!!

    Roasted butternut squash and onion with garam masala spices...

    Steak

    That ought to take us til Tuesday...;)

    Today's Mrs. Walter's birthday! :birthday: we've been celebrating both of ours since Thursday. Had some wonderful sushi at our favorite place last night, out on their porch with great weather and awesome ambiance! Drove home with the top down and Walter Jr. had a great Halloween at a friends house. Win - win! :)

    We have stepped into modern times by getting iPhone 6's. So we're trying to figure all that out! Actually it's amazing and hard to believe how behind our old phones were.

    Happy Birthday Mrs Walter!!! We LOVE birthdays ;-)

    I wasn't using the legal definition of crazy or delusion. I'm referring to the idea that the world would be hunky dory if everyone adopted the legal system and social mores of the 7th century Arabian Peninsula. That legal system and social mores didn't prevent the Arabian Peninsula from tearing itself apart following Muhammad's death so the idea that they are the answer to the contemporary world's ills is ludicrous. IMO, the people who embrace this way of thinking aren't "delusional" in the clinical sense but they are fantasists. They cling to their warped interpretation of "jihad" in the same way that Linus clings to his belief in The Great Pumpkin.

    It is the 2nd time in 3 days that Canadian soldiers are being targeted within our country, and they just announced he converted recently.

    I am so sorry for your country's loss...I remember shortly after the Boston bombings thinking 'why'...Boston is a town of college students for cripe sakes!!! Hardly a hotbed for terrorism...and the marathon??!!

    Can't help but think the same of Ottawa, and Canada as a whole for that matter...
