  1. Yeah, there's quite a few of those picks I don't feel good about--the Jags, the Cowboys, Colts, Steelers. We'll see how things go...

I probably should have taken the Redskins. But they both stink. I like In the Evenings picks. I think he is right on the money on most. He is taking a chance with the Rams but I was very high on them until Bradford went down. If they can solve the QB problem, they could turn it around fast

  2. Won 20 bucks on a scratch off ticket. I know it's not much, but given my usual luck with tickets, 20 smackers is pretty damn good...

600 that I won on my off shore accounts is even better. LOL Thanks to Bills, Dolphins, Falcons, Titans, O's

  3. Week 1 is now complete. Congrats to KB and Rick for winning the week.

Thanks for doing all the work. I know its very tedious. I may as well get this over with even though its a tough week coming up.

    Pittsburgh

    Buffalo (are you kidding me?)

    Jacksonville

Tennessee (this one is tough to figure-maybe Romo's undoing?)

    Arizona

Minnesota (Peterson will have a big day, time will catch up with NE)

    New Orleans

    Atlanta

    Detroit

    Tampa

San Diego (Seahawks have to lose a few, this one may qualify)

    Houston

    Green Bay

    Denver

    San Francisco

Indy (on the fence on this one)

  4. Not, me - that brown top is so tight, she looks amazing! The second one is good, but a little sloppy looking, imo. Either way, you can't go wrong! ;):)

I don't see Tony Romo in your post Walter. Get busy dude!!!!

  5. I don't want to hear that! I'm looking at that in about 3 weeks :)

57 is way better than the alternative!!

Yes you are right Esther. And happy early B day in case I somehow miss it. Its tough to keep track of all these b days. Thanks again. As for the game tonight, its going to be a tough one as I am sure they are in a foul mood.

  6. When I visit my brother in Italy, we always eat that late. Here, I like making my dinner reservations at 8 - Dinner At Eight! I don't think we left until around 10.

Tonight, before the theatre, we ate at Esca (a Batali, Bastianich, Pasternack restaurant), specializing in Italian seafood. I had a salad of summer veggies, ricotta and vinaigrette. Then monkfish with roasted corn and tomatoes. And a glass of nebbiolo. Then gelato with espresso. It was fabulous.

I ate the couch as our O's are going to put me in the hospital. Another heart stopper. Tomorrow we go out to dinner at a very good Italian restaurant in the village of Fairport, NY> They have been around for ages in another part of town but just added this second restaurant. I know we will get appetizers. Clams and likely Escarole. I am leaning towards Gnocci's. But not sure. And very sure I did not spell it correctly again. Oh and to boot I turn 57. One step closer to that big 6

  7. Well I had a nice day at Del Mar, hitting a pic 3 twice, that ended with the Bing Crosby grade 1 stakes and having the 9-1 shot winner Big Macher. The only thing I did wrong all day was miss the late pick 4 by a head in the 8th race. It was criminal to me. My horse was blocked in the stretch and altered course twice and still almost caught the winner, losing by a head. I netted over $600 for the day, not bad. California is calling me as is Baltimore. Next year for sure

  8. wow the great Johnny Winter R.I.P, another great bluesman gone. :depressed::angel:

I posted this in Other Bands. With a link to CNN article. I once had the album Tobacco Rd. His brother was more famous I suppose, but with his condition was it not a miracle he lived this long?

  9. Opening day at Del Mar is today. Saratoga tomorrow I am quite sure. They have a free contest for Del Mar if you go to the site. These are the best two tracks for wagering along with Churchill Downs in their main season. Big money at Del Mar.

  10. No Rick. The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. You may be thinking of Kennedy Space Center in Florida...

"Side Show" is a musical based on Daisy and Violet Hilton, Siamese Twins in the late 20's/early 30's. And it was a really good show. I hope they are able to open it on Broadway.

Indeed I was. I have been there, to Florida, not DC. You missed a heck of a game. And a nerve wracking one

  11. ^^^

I waa wondering when you would get around to posting a Maria pic, Rick. Grunt-grunt. :P

Wimbledon seems to be Federer's last remaining hope in adding to his Major totals. Nadal OWNS the French Open and even seems to be Federer's equal on the hard courts of the US and Aussie Opens. The grass courts of Wimbledon are Roger's last stand.

Oh man. She is out. She lost. Fuck
