I can understan that. But to hold something against you that you did 30 years ago and is off your record legally is pure bullshit. I will probably just get a passport because then I have more options. Maybe Ill fly into Vancouver and if they let me off the plane the drinks are on me..

If I get a passport do you think those high and mighty border pricks will let me into the country? I mean, I have no record here. Have a pistol permit even. But somehow the Canadiens have a record of a DWI I got in 1981. After 10 years here its off your record forever and like you never got it. If they ever give me trouble again I will not care to go back. I can go to Cal or Fl where its alot warmer. What are the chances it woudl show up on a passport check? I am not going to go through their fucking rehabilitaion shit. i do not drink daily and they can stick it.

The change of seasons is well underway in upstate NY. The leaves are turning on the Maples and I wonder how much snow we will get? I ran into my plowman at the store. Told him to send me a contract and I would think it over whether to pay the unlimited flat rate or by the visit. Last year he made out. Plowed me once.

The day's work is done, met Kirk Douglas and now it's time to cap Sept. 19 with one of the great Led Zeppelin shows of all-time.
September 19, 1970 Madison Square Garden NY...the Evening concert.
The afternoon concert, as good as it was, was just a warm-up compared to the evening show. If this show existed in an audience tape comparable to the quality of the 9.14.71 tape(or there was a soundboard), it would easily be ranked among the best and most essential Led Zeppelin concerts ever.
As it is, even with the uneven quality of the only available tape(understandable considering it was languishing at the bottom of a closet for more than 30 years), it is still an essential bootleg for any Led Zeppelin collector.
If you want to have any understanding of the crowd frenzy that Led Zeppelin was causing post-"Whole Lotta Love" and supplanting the Beatles in 1970 and the sheer concussive power and delirium their sound was unleashing on unsuspecting audiences, this show is a good place to start.
It ranks in my personal Top 10 Best Led Zeppelin concerts.

I am on Disc 2 and the band is pulling out crazy encores. You can always tell when Led Zeppelin felt good about a show; they would pull out rare gems for the encores. Think about 9.4.70, Seattle and LA in 1972, Southampton 1973.
9.19.70 has the best "Out On the Tiles" ever...better than the 9.4.70. It also has a fine "Blueberry Hill", "Communication Breakdown w/ Gallows Pole".
You also get two epic medleys for the price of one: Whole Lotta Love and How Many More Times!!!
But the real treat for me is the "The Girl Can't Help It/20 Flight Rock" pairing. Absolutely scorching...especially on the Little Richard tune.

Autumn is setting in up here in upstate NY> The leaves are changing color and I just wonder what kind of a winter we have in store? Last year was simply the most bizarre winter I have ever seen. One time my plowman had to plow my driveway. I am debating whether to pay him for the entire season again or not? If it happens again, I believe Global warming has changed the Earth's climate for good. If we do not get snow like last year I will be shocked. But to be honest I kind of hope we get it only on Xmas Eve.
