  1. Race one at Parx (Philadelphia) tomorrow the 6 horse is the favorite. The name of the horse?

"Now and Zen" Obviously a Zepp fan owns him and he is the favorite in the race. Ill throw a couple on him .

  2. Vests, yes.... Heat, no! After this there will probably be metal detectors put in place. I don't think a bunch of yahoo's shooting guns in a dark theatre, with panicking people running everywhere, is a great idea!

This crazy bastard thinks he is really the joker. His apartment is booby trapped and a death trap. He had more in store.

  3. Well Encore is now free to Direct TV customers, me included until they can sort out this problem with some of the channels they have temporarily pulled due to money issues. My wife is losing it becuase she cannot watch Everybody Loves Raymond. I prefer Encore even though it was a good show. Ill go buy her the reruns if I have to.

  4. I have searched in vain for months for a particular harness horse that I have won alot of money on. Damn if I did not spot him running tonight at Saratoga Harness in race 12!!! He won me the money in Canada at Mohawk and Woodbine. But he will run tonight, in about an hour and a half at Saratoga. Now I do not have a program thus I do not know if he is in shape. But I must take a blind shot on him. I will go light but I must take a shot. Good horse. Was anyway. I hope he is tonight

Peachy's Noble Sam, the 5 in race 12

  5. (Yesterday) my daughter won a big Mickey Mouse plush toy in the Teddy Raffle at her nursery's summer fete. She loves Mickey Mouse, and already had lots of cuddly Mickeys, but none this size. And it only cost 50p!

Sometimes - but not very often - it's more enjoyable to experience the joy of others than one's own.

Dang you are a hard one to figure out!!

  6. :hysterical:

Believe it or not Rick, non-Americans do go abroad occasionally. You should try it sometime.

Have you ever even been out of state? NJ doesn't count, btw..

I am flying down to Florida during the hurricane season. I am driving the whole fucking state. Flyin into Ft Lauderdale and out of Tampa.

Olympics coming. I hope they urinate on your front steps and throw the empties threw your fucking front window.

  7. Weather Channel radar and wondering when that damn Tropical Storm Debby is getting the hell out of here!

I am flying down to Florida during the Hurricane season. Taking my wife to not only see her parents in Ocala, but to see my 100 year old aunt in Ft Lauderdale. Flying into Ft Lauderdale and returning from Tampa. Going to make the drive up Alligator Alley to Ft Myers for a two day stay. Then Drive up the West coast to Ocala, stopping at the doggie track en route. Derby Lane. Ruff ruff.

Very wise, indeed, Rick! And how fortunate you were to catch one of the good Landover shows! The only Landover I've heard from the 1977 tour is the "Bringing the House Down" soundboard, which is the May 26 show, and it is dreadful. I've heard people say bad things about the 28th concert as well, but apparently everyone agrees the May 30th was the best of the four Landover nights.

Not only had I heard about the Tampa riot, but others as well. Just like in 1975, there would be periodic reports about violence at a Led Zeppelin concert as the tour marched across the country. There was violence in Miami on April 17 when tickets went on sale...the article blurb didn't say if these tickets were for a Miami show that then got cancelled, or if they were selling tickets for Tampa at Miami's Orange Bowl, too.

Then came word about the trouble in Cincinnati. So yes, you can imagine the worries I was having about whether the band would make it to L.A. in one piece or if too much fan violence would cause the rest of the tour to be scrapped.

On the other hand, there was some good news..."The Song Remains the Same" was brought back to selected theatres in Southern California to help us pass the time waiting for the Zeppelin tour to arrive at the Forum.

Well my guess is that Pagey wanted to make up for the night he was carried off the stage two nights before? Man am I lucky that guy had tickets to the 30th and not the 28th. I had wanted the New York seats but he would not sell them and i dont blame him. But he was heaven sent this guy. In his sixties yellow corvette. Hey dude, if you are out there somewhere, I am the 20 yr old punk you sold the tickets to at the Blessed Sacrament school parking lot in the spring of 77. Rochester, NY
