Gorgeous October day here, too. In the high 70s. Sitting on the patio of a New Orleans Saints bar, having a Shrimp Po ' Boy and Jambalaya and an Abita Turbodog English Brown Ale, getting ready to watch the Saints vs. Chargers game and the Orioles-Yankees, if it ever starts.
I know what you mean. I hope the damp weather does not bother Hammel.

I love the Who. I saw them twice in the seventies. Toronto outdoors and Buffalo indoors at the old Aud. But Moony had already left us.

Townsend and Who special was just on CBS morning. They said the Who will tour next year. ie Townsend and Daltrey. Still worth seeing for sure. Showed him going down the Thames river in London and talking about his childhood and of course the false child porn accusations that were simply bullshit.

I lost my Dad this morning.
Sorry for the downer folks, but after coming to this site for a couple of years now it was the first place I could think of at this time of the morning. I know some of you have gone through what I am going through right now. Not wanting you to re-live it though, I apologise for that.

I have about ten or so different teas that I brew on a rotational basis, depending on the time of day, the weather and my mood. This morning felt like an Earl Grey morning.
I like a variety also but am into my coffee too. i have a keurig I am using now.

Bagel, lox and cream cheese. Half a Cantaloupe. Orange juice. Earl Grey tea.
I prefer green tea( mandarin orange). Or white tea (blueberry) with honey.

Finally warm day. I have the furnace guy coming in the morning to clean the furnace. First time since I bought the joint three plus years ago.

Nice EBK. It looks like we have to go to Texas. I pray we win. This team deserves to get some home games for tdhe fans. They have had a hell of a year. We have to find a way to beat them. They pretty much collapsed and lost their division.

Thanks all for the very easy to access charts. What I hate about it is stretching my strings out and that is why I wish I had three or four guitars. But I just bought a brand new Taylor. A real beauty. Best acoustic/electric I have ever owned. I do miss my Les Paul but sometimes its alot easier to play acoustic because you can take it anywhere. Even though I used to have a small electric guitar amp that you could plug into your cigarette lighter in the car and blast away.

What wasn't a joke was the Angels getting eliminated. That made me un-happy. Mike Trout's and Jared Weaver's great seasons wasted.
Lets not forget Torri Hunter too. They came on like gangbusters late. Just like Tampa. Its shows how tough it is to make it. Unless you buy out the joint like the Stankees.

Something less stressful than baseball playoffs
