  1. Yesterday I was able to check-in for my flight to Northern Ireland next week and buy the seats I wanted at about a quarter of the price they wanted when I bought the tickets and they asked if I wanted to "upgrade"!  Window seats all the way baby!

How's that coast to coast pity party for the so called homeless working out for you?

Contact me when ready to call street vagrants street vagrants and use firehoses and dogs to clear them all out.

..or as the left refers to them "Unaddressed Immigrants".

  3. A student in our office has just tested positive for Covid...for the FIFTH time!  I thought I had it once back in February 2020 when we had to work from home twice a week.  While working from home, I felt a little queasy, got tested the next day at the University Health Clinic and tested negative.

So, is anyone here "fired up" about tomorrow's night Republican Presidential Circus Convention. Televised by Fox News of course, and I'm guessing the field of candidates will do their own juggling, minus clown makeup....  :D

Not fired up about it, but it will definitely be more entertaining than  watching the liberals at the DEMONcratic Convention tie 2x4's to Biden's arms and legs ala "Weekend at Bernie's" so he appears lifelike and listening to "Heel's Up" Harris jumble some word salad about what a great four years of work they've done!

  5. LOS ANGELES — William Friedkin, the Oscar winning director who became a top filmmaker in his 30s with the gripping “The French Connection” and the horrifying “The Exorcist” and struggled in the following decades to match his early success has died. He was 87.

If it weren't for sports--or keeping up with the news--I highly doubt I would pay for any sort of cable, even my current Sling subscription. Which is relatively cheap, compared to what I used to shell out for the dish....

Cutting the cable 4 years ago was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life!  Watching TV is my biggest vice, but I've learned to get by with just OTA reception and a jail-broke Fire Cube.

Anyone who tells you to buy and EV to save on gas is blowing smoke up your ass.    If it costs me 800 bucks a month to run my car between insurance , car payment and gas why in the world would I want to take on new loan that would cost me over a thousand a month on my car payment over 7 years plus insurance and electricity and any other costs???!!   It would cost me double what I'm paying now at 800 a month. Do not trust anyone who tells you it will be cheaper.

Not to mention the more than double interest rates to buy that EV on credit thanks to "Bidenomics"!

After 2 gloriously sunny weeks in Southern Spain, it's back home to shite. Rain, rain and more rain and according to the tea leaf readers, no change until August

Just curious...where did you go in Southern Spain?  I absolutely LOVED the Sevilla/Cordoba area.
