musically, they were brilliant... the duel harmony guitars were an amazing sound that hadnt been heard of before... and phil was a legend on bass...
and, I'd put him near the top of rockers who live the rock and roll live style... it was unfortionate that he died

personally, i dont care for them...
my prog loyalty lies with King Crimson and it doesnt help that ELP robbed crimson of Greg Lake!!!
I love "From the Beginning" and "The Barbarian" is ok... but that's about it...
on an semi-releated note... the opening in "From the Beginning" sounds like the opening from "Roundabout"
