I'd agree with that. They were kinda like Led Zeppelin. Not in the hard rock/early heavy metal stuff, but because they jammed in the concerts like Led Zeppelin. Extending the songs and what not.
I heard that on the recently made documentary, Which One is Pink? on VH1 Classic.

My friends an I planned a road trip for over spring break. We are going to Duluth for a couple days to visit the college campus. I love Duluth. Its a fantastic city. It was voted best little-big city to live in.
Lots of people know like one or two songs by Pink Floyd. Its usually Money and Another Brick in the Wall Part 2. They are not overrated what so ever. More underrated. I say that because I have people come up to me when I am where in a Pink Floyd shirt saying "Pink Floyd, I know that guy ." People say that about Led Zeppelin all the time.
