Isn't that sweet? He's bringing me a rose.

    He's hot in white.

I like this photo very much.

I cleaned it up a little. Hope that is ok.

  2. Are you implying it's because we post them here? I doubt he cares. He would be worried if people took the photos and used them to sell something, i.e. magazines. We are not doing that. Plus, we give him credit all the time. If anything, we help him advertise! :D

P.S. If that's not what you were implying; if you were sincerely asking; my apologies. It's hard to tell tone on a message board.

Ok, tecnically, everything on the web is copyrighted and you are supposed to ask for permission to use anything, even if you don't make any money from it.

Halfin would be within his rights if he decided to go after anyone who has posted his pics here.

Not trying to preach. Just educate.

( I am guilty as anyone else here of taking pics without asking)

  3. THIS IS A PICTURE REQUEST!

Jimmy Page on stage during the 1970s. It is a black & white or greyscale picture and a frontal shot of Jimmy. Jimmy is on a stool, playing an acoustic guitar with his eyes shut. There is a cigarette in his mouth that has mostly burned out, but the ash is still intact, suggesting that he has been concentrating so hard on his playing that he has not moved his head much at all. I have read through this entire thread from start to finish (90 minutes!) but it is not here. It is similar to these pictures:

I had said picture, though I forget where from, around 2003 when the DVD was released as a desktop picture and it was awesome. I'd like to buy an original print of it now for my room if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've searched my JP archives and couldn't find the one I was thinking you are talking about.

I'll check again to see if I can find it for you.

I know there are a couple Jimmy ciggy lovers who probably have the pic you are talking about. :)

  4. I love all of those and your sig picture, IluvJimmyPage. (I've been printing about everything for my elaborate scrapbook I have been making of him.) He's so gorgeous in that burgandy coat. I'm not surprised he signed for you. He looks so happy in your picture. Couldn't find this anywhere, but Ross just posted his new pictures and they were all worth waiting for. Sorry if they are posted elsewhere. I just gasped when I saw them. He's absolutely so beautiful. I can not wait until "It Might Get Loud" comes out.

    Thanks for posting those.

I love those black and whites.

I love that million dollar smile of his.

  5. Yes I took it at the NY premiere of TSRTS (and got his autograph at the same time).

Thanks so much for the compliment!!

    That's amazing!

You are a lucky girl indeed.

  6. You found a real gem there!! There are several cool things about this vid...the first song Jimmy wrote for Jackie DeShannon whom he was leaving in London to make it big in the States...it was later restructured as Tangerine as you can probably tell. BUT, the coolest is that second song..."She just Satisfies" It's the ONLY song Jimmy ever sang, and he played every single instrument on that recording except the drums. That 45 would be quite a collectors item!!

You ladies are all so wonderful! It's great to be able to come here and relate to fellow obsessed women, LOL! We should actually be a 'support' group. "Hi, my name is Medhb and I admit it, am obbsessed with Jimmy Page"

Truly, I can think of no other single person outside of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley that are such legends. And Jimmy's the LIVING one!! I'd be curious about the age range of all of us....he can excite us whether we're 13 or 130!!! I wonder if he has any clue what he still does to women....even when he's thousands of miles away?! Ahhhhh....I think maybe he does ; ) Jimena is certainly the luckiest woman in the world. She must be quite a special lady. I'm certainly glad that she makes our Jimmy happy and healthy!

    OK....wow! Off my soapbox now!

    Nice to meet you.

  7. He, ladies! We have just 15 pages less than Robert!!!

If we go on like this, it won't be long until we have them.

    Is it a contest?

    Seriously. Who gives a rip.

I'd rather look at one great pic of JP then 100 of RP.

  8. I love with one from Irvine, CA where they open with Immigrant Song and Jimmy has a cigarette in his mouth, then turns around playing the opening of the Wanton Song and coolly throws it aside. I can't find that on YouTube to show you. I have the DVD of the concert. Jimmy looks so hot on that. I think this picture is from that show, but it's the jacket he has on.

    56321800.jpg

Notice that his pants match the jacket.

    Very classy.

That pic is so snagged. B)

Those are lovely(especially the last one ), except for the big, ugly watermark splashed right across the middle.

Why do photographers feel the need to ruin a pic with big ugly watermarks when a suble watermark would suffice?

  10. Slave, you can see it in the first disc of the 2003 DVD. Check it out on the TOUS EN SCENE show (France). They play Communication Breakdown & a partial Dazed & confused in front of an astonished French crowd... :D

Those Frenchies were not prepared for the likes of LZ lol

  11. The bios don´t say how long it took Jimmy to recover. And as I know that there are some real hardcore-Zeppers out there who know details about every single gig...

    BTW

Just listened to the MSG-Stairway of 1975. I don´t know which day it was, I don´t know if it´s that legendary SB-bootleg but i do know that the solo is pure crap! Sorry...

That photo above is a photo of Jimmy playing what seems like a C-(power)chord. Nothing´s wrong with that. Lots of people - especially with knee-slung guitar - do it this way.

    May 30 1973

Reportedly sprained a finger on the fence at Los Angeles International Airport greeting fans who waited for the flight arrival. Concert for that night postponed until the following night.

    Circa January 13-15 1975

Left-hand ring finger got crushed in a closing train door he tried to hold open for a passenger at Victioria Rail Station. Later the same day, a visit to a doctor for x-rays confirmed he had broken the tip of his finger. They departed England January 15th

for the United States. He adopted what he called a "three finger technique" on that

leg of the tour. This type of injury normally takes six to eight weeks to heal.

Both mentioned in the LZ~Definitive Bio BTW

I think it takes Page the same amount of time to recover from said injuries as most other human beings.
