I always thought Dan Dierdorf was great as a commentator. I also miss Dick Enberg calling the games, sometimes...

I think I'll call my shot now: Bengals 27, Rams 23....

That’s funny, I was just about to write about how much I liked Dan Dierdorf and read your post. He was great. Dick was an all time great! And as Custard mentioned, Curt Gowdy was just as classy as they get. Jimmy the Greek could say some pretty funny sh/t! Can you imagine a guy like him and Howard in todays world. We need more of them.

What a performance. At 10 minutes and 50 seconds, if you could describe a voice on steroids that would be it. For that matter the entire band. For all the vocal maturations that Robert had and went through, I would say that the note he hits right around that time would not have been a note he could have hit in 69-71 which is maybe his prime.

When it came out officially in 03, to hear it in 5.1 surround sound, Jimmy playing as if his life depended on it, that in my humble opinion is some of the raunchiest, nastiest, baddest music any band has ever created. It’s funny, out of the all the live music I have, bootleg, and official live material, or studio material, I come back to that song most often. That or the April 27th 69 “ As Long as I have you medley  “.

Just brilliant kick you in your face! Make you feel the emotion, and excitement that they were feeling music.

    Cheers.

Raise your hand if you didn’t vote for the the other total pos! People who talk about turn out, and all the Let’s go Brandon Memes. Stuck in a sheep world. Those who wanted to follow a want to be tyrannical leader raise their hands. Those right wing believers who all the sudden think Putin is cool raise their hand!

Here is the point, the right love to talk about the left and being the sheep! Except the right just spouts out whatever bullshit Tucker C, or Sean H, or Ben Shapiro has to say. If someone actually thought that the previous administration was good, and that they were good for the country then we have a set of problems to discuss. If you would like to talk about his VP being a good man, someone I could see myself voting for, or talk about Mitt being a good man/person with dignity, then I’m willing to listen. But when people try and compare that total ass hat of a human to whoever else that everyone in America voted for, it’s funny, he had a bunch of country bumpkins at his rallies, you know that’s not a representation of America. It is certainly a part of it. But not all of it. I’ll make this clear, I identify as a independent, and just based off of being a person with decency I couldn’t stand one more day with that lying, conniving, trash bin.

I would have voted for a fence post over him. Americans need to wake up. All this talk about left and right, other countries are leaving us in the dust in most major categories. Specifically education, tech, and maybe more importantly patriotism.

I’ve never wanted any President to fail, no matter if I voted for them or not. Yes, a vast majority of the left wanted Trump to Fail, and I don’t agree with that either. How about this, let’s try and not vote in Qanon quacks on the right, and the left should focus on not voting in cancel culture vultures. Goddamn I’m so sick of this team mentality.

And just for fun, let’s see who has created bigger government under which party, and who has had a better economy. We can go back to WW2. One group says they are for smaller government but has increased its size every term they were in office, and that group also says they are better for the economy, except they have ruined the economy, or have had very little effect on its growth. And there are some educated people on this forum. These are easy stats to fact check. 10 of the 11 recessions we have had since 1953 onward have been under Republican administrations. That’s a fact. Is “ Sleepy Joe” a good President, so far not so great. Let’s not try and act like he didn’t have a shit storm to clean up. When the previous administration took over, they lied about all the stuff they had to fix. Economy was strong, healthcare which is a major issue was trying to be fixed, maybe it was because a black man was in office, and so many Americans can’t stand it.

Sorry to ramble, I’m just tired of the right acting like they are the tough guys who are going to right the ship. And I’m tired of the left being whimps and not actually doing what they say, or should be doing.

Facts matter. Yes I said it. No matter who is in office, let’s try and get behind each other and our community and make a difference. Instead of letting these lobbyists, and big corporations dictate what the hell happens to us and our politicians and policies.

Well said! No de-railing happening at all. If you want, we can bend the post to say that you believe karma exists lol. I certainly do. The universe can be harsh and cruel, and I think right now is a challenging time for a lot of people everywhere. But I absolutely think karma is a real thing, and even if it wasn't - it's good to be kind. It's its own reward. It's always great to read posts like yours that are straight-up real.

I appreciate the kind words, and I am a firm believer in Karma. We do live in a harsh universe that isn’t fair and helping others is where it is at. Especially in these trying/crazy times. You are absolutely correct that just being kind is it’s own reward. Lots of benefits in doing so.

Well slap me on the arse and call me Mary. You two agree. :friends:

My take is a bit different - although I don't disagree with the sentiment, and I'm not convinced, but I offer....

There are intelligence/military/geo-political strategist minds that are the selected advisers at the top levels of the US Government (no matter the party in power) - that you'd like to think contribe views and options that are not dogmatic, not partisan, just facts and viewpoints considered, and evaluated by leaders. They do their job in delivering their expertise for others to consider along with other views.

So one respectable/arguable position is to say NATO is valuable in that while the USSR has ceased to exist, Russia and its current President and outlook, for right or wrong, should be considered a potential threat to NATO, and non-NATO democracies. So while I am interested in the position that NATO has indeed outlived it's usefulness as it makes perfect sense, I believe there is a valid, if not strong counter to that.

So you make a good case John and I largely agree with it, but I can't help but think NATO may be a good counter balance to Russia's view of itself, history, and what Putin might consider as "righting past wrongs" from his perspective. The dog that the US has in the fight is simply a matter of promoting (preserving?) Democratic values and systems of Government over Autocratic - or less desirable (and demonstratably LESS efficient/advanced) systems of Government. I don't think that is in and of itself a bad "thing" - but how far should the US go?

If the US are not the "police of the world" - someone else will be. Better it be the superpower that has liberty and people as central to power at it's core than authoritarians.

I would go so far as to say it is more dangerous to let authoritarian systems expand unchecked in the world than to actively engage and counter them. Diplomatically first and foremost, but also as if it means something to you.

Joe Rogans DMT experiences, which he has gone into in depth with while interviewing interesting guests who took similar journeys at the least speaks to other dimensions or potential planes of existence that - at least for those who take that journey - is very, very real. Our 5 senses are great. What of the alien life form that has 8, or 12, or 50 senses? What of the lifeform that cuts through what we basically lack through our own biological limitations????

To think the human experience is the "height" of biological possibility is the absolute extreme of over confidence.

But then again, Humans produced the music of Led Zeppelin.

    Cheers my friends!

DMT is very interesting to me. I have several friends who have also had life changing experiences while on it. There are 2 specifically that I watched change their lives after having had a few different experiences with the drug. Life altering changes. And I might add that they were for the better and did very positive things with their lives. But made pretty drastic changes.

An argument that I hear with respect to Alien life and travel is that we are how many thousand, or millions of light years away from said planets. I feel one of the issues with that train of thought is, we are the ones putting parameters on the time. Meaning that time may not be the same, it could be as easy as a thought for them/they. If they want to be somewhere that would take us hundreds, thousands, or millions of light years to get there, it in my mind would not apply to an advanced species. That is our earthly thoughts or calculations, or as I said earlier parameters on travel.

I also agree with you on the policing of the world. It’s not a great/good position to be in at all. However, the alternative is it not being America, and it being perhaps China. I truly do feel the world is far better off with us in that position than without us. That could also be because that’s all I know, and if that were to change it would be scary because of change itself, along with what the ramifications would be. Which are pretty unknown.

And brilliantly said about the 4 humans who created the music that we know as Led Zeppelin. That very well could be the pinnacle of  human creation. I will say that I have had a glass 🥃 or two of Johnny Walker Blue label whiskey. So I may not be thinking clearly. Or maybe this is as clear as I’ll ever think.

Cheers to everyone as well. Stay safe out there. Random acts of kindness is a cool thing to participate in. And I spent a lot of my life being an aggressive jackass who might have had a complex and felt like they had something to prove. With Whiskey, a daughter, and the passage of time I really feel like being cool to someone is a better way to go about my day. Sorry for the de-railing of the thread.

See, 2pac knew what was up! 😛

Pac knew what was up! Straight genius! As far as what exists, I’m a firm believer that we are not all there is. I could get way deeper into it, I’ve been an avid reader on the subject since childhood. Not that I’m any type that of authority. I just feel that it would be very presumptuous of me to think that our race/the human race is the end all and be all in this vast universe. Whether I’ve had any experiences or not is purely anecdotal.

I believe that the world is very complex, we only see what our brains will allow or can handle. I think we will be seeing a phenomenal amount of changes in the next decade or two. I have a 13 year old daughter, and to be honest I don’t feel that we or I can even begin to imagine what life will be like for her generation.

However, for those who do not believe in anything else other than what they have read, or experienced I can appreciate that. I would say listen to Alex Friedmans Podcast, and read anything by Avi Loeb.

I really want to ask why NATO is not needed anymore? And I mean that, not being a sarcastic jackass. I may have different feelings on it, but there are a certain group of people who have really started to feel that way over the last 6 years or so. I had never heard that up until that time. I get that we pay an enormous amount, and I’m not ignorant on the subject. I just only hear it from a certain group.

    Cheers everyone.

I wanted him to go full Howard Stern and just ride Neil Young like a rented moped for the next two weeks. Say things like, "Most of Neil's fans aren't on Spotify, they're on life support".

Well, when you put it that way, I’m surprised he didn’t as well. It isn’t like Neil has the same pull he had in the 80’s or even 90’s. Money, corporate money specifically is very powerful. I know Joe has a step daughter who is half African American, so now with all of this other shit coming out. It’s pretty easy to put together a montage and make someone look like an asshat. Truth is, I don’t think he has a racist bone in his body. He is a comedian, outspoken, opinionated, and until Spotify, I don’t think he really cared what people thought of what he said.

I can understand India Arie being upset with his use of the word, however, to put together the montage that she or someone on her team put together is pretty disingenuous. It was taken out of context for sure. I want to clarify that I’m not saying it is okay to use the word he did, but to edit him the way it was, that is the problem. And I could be wrong, maybe he is racist, maybe the context doesn’t matter. Also, for the Neil Young Lynyrd Skynyrd issue, to my knowledge Skynyrd were not racist, they didn’t have a problem with Neil Young. That was done in a tongue and cheek manner. That band loved Neil Young. It’s pretty easy to look up all the interviews they have given in regards to it.

Speaking of Skynyrd, one of the best concerts I ever went to, they played with Bad Co. at Shorline in like 92/93, it wasn’t so much the musicianship, as much as the atmosphere, music, and just an overall great time. If I’m not mistaken, I think Lynyrd or Bad Co. were making a live concert and recording there. I was pretty hammered so I could be incorrect.

admire you threw out first pitch, wow, must of been a tremendous honor, i'm a little confused trying to follow, are you saying that guys who cheated should be allowed into the hall? I am dead against that and all it does is tarnish the memory of those who played the game honestly, I will admit baseball of course knew these freaks were using steroids like Mguire and Sosa and Clemens head and body gaine about 30 pounds, but they did nothing because fans were filling the stands and tuning on tv, but they were cheaters, freaks, I believe its already hard enough to compare players from different times mainly because of rules changes, night games, live balls, shorter walls, DH, how can one compare Hunter with Seaver or Gibson when AL pitchers never had to come out for pitch hitters etc.... but this also makes for great conversation, debating the merits of players, but once its confirmed they cheated then as far as i'm concerned they are done and their names should be wiped clean of any records, and all sports can be tied into diffrent eras and records, football Brady and Brees have almost every passing record in nfl history but are they comparable to Unitas or Staubach, Montana? more games, can't hit them, can't hit the receivers,  that's why sports is fun, nobody is right or wrong, and  as far as Ortiz I thought it was common knowledge he did test positive for steroids before the official testing, actually heard this on the fan in new york but he cleaned up his act and wasn't an asshole like Bonds or Clemens, so he got in

I think that is what I am saying, we don’t know that he cheated, he was in the Mitchell report in 2003 along with a 100 other people. But it wasn’t that any test came out and said he tested positive for Steroids. He has never tested positive for them. You can look up any report and David never came back positive for a steroid. I’m also saying that a large group of players from all generations tried to get a competitive advantage. We act like steroids were invented in the 1980’s, and that is just not true, Lyle Alzado for example is someone that we all knew was taking them is 1970’s, to assume guys like Mike Schmidt, or Nolan Ryan didn’t mess with them is naive in my opinion. Maybe they didn’t, but we don’t know that for sure.  And if we are to assume that in the 1980’s-and 90’s is when they became more wide spread, which I would agree with, isn’t taking cocaine or amphetamines of the past generations cheating? A huge amount of players admit to taking both of those. And did so for a competitive advantage.

Taking a pill or shooting steroids by themselves  doesn’t make you stronger, faster, or hit and catch a ball better. You still have to put in the work. My analogy of players from pre 1965 is saying that they weren’t playing against the best of the best. I’m not saying to reward players who were cheating. Guys like A-Rod, Mark M, Manny, Sosa and several others who were caught on multiple occasions or even once may not deserve it. But I also know that baseball specifically didn’t mind it when Sosa and McGuire were saving baseball from the strike smashing records and baseballs over the fence.

The Brees and Brady comp I like, yes Football has changed dramatically in the last 25 years, but I’m pretty sure Brady could have played in any generation. And I’m not a fan of his, mainly because he is a Bay Area guy, went to New England, and made them one of, if not the most storied football franchises ever. So really because I’m jealous. I guess I’m admitting that as we get older we want to think our generations sports heroes were the best. And the truth is they are not.

There are absolutely athletes who transcend every generation. Hell, a large portion of all major leaguers, Football Players, and Basketball players had jobs in the off season before the 1980’s. The last 30-35 years these adults played all year round as kids and travel, and commit their entire lives to it far before making it to the pros. That can account for a lot of the injuries, and it can also account for why they are insanely talented and ready for the pros at such a young age now. I would also argue that having played baseball my entire youth, and still belonging to beer leagues, the DH position deserves to be included. It’s not easy sitting around waiting to hit a few times a game, against a few different specialists who are brought in to get you out. And, looking at a large portion of position players who were able to extend their careers since the DH was introduced in 1973 in the American League and get in the hall, I think we need to look at it a little bit differently. What about Mike Piazza, he was rumored to have taken them and never failed a test. There are a bunch of guys that were thought to have taken them. In my opinion which is shitty like everyone else’s opinion, we can’t keep out people because some Yankees fan, or some asshole writer suspected you of taking them.

That’s my position on it Custard.

Joe Rogan apologises to Neil Young and vows to make changes (msn.com)

I guess you could consider this the first time. But he leans in either direction depending on who he has a guest. Just listen to his podcast with Bernie, or Dave Chappell, or Bill Maher.  Then listen to it with Alex Jones, Jordan Peterson, or Ben Shapiro, he is like most people, he wants to be liked. It’s human nature. He would certainly never admit to being right leaning or right wing. He will say he is a libertarian. I’ve listened to a good portion of his podcasts going back to 2010. At first it was him and his comedian buddies, smoking weed, drinking whiskey and talking shit. And he would regularly say that. “ don’t listen to me, I’m a dummy who is talking shit”. Literally almost every show he would say that. it then started to get into some of his personal interests, and certainly the last couple of years have been more politically driven.

I don’t even know if I’m disappointed, I think it is what I expected from a guy like him. He wants a paycheck, and wants to leave a legacy. Kind of similar to most of us. He is in a position where he could make and take a stand, but it would absolutely effect his shows, podcasts, as well as comedy tours. He has been touring with Dave Chappell off and on since Covid, and taking that stand would have some pretty serious consequences for himself and his brand. By apologizing, he may lose a handful of listeners. Really at this point I expect all of them to apologize for their thoughts and actions when cancel culture comes to get you. And that is on either side.

    Cheers Steve.

well I guess he's the only one who didn't use or didn't get caught lol, its so watered down these days, like  the rock and roll hall

That’s not actually accurate. I want to start this off by saying I am a life long A’s fan, since 1981, season ticket holder, and was lucky enough to throw out the first pitch in 1990 against the Yankees in front of 45k televised. I mention that, because I am as much an A’s fan as I am a Zeppelin fan. Or close at least. While I’m no fan of the Red Sox, and border on hating them, David didn’t test positive one time during actual testing which was from 2004 onward. He did in fact get called out in the Mitchell report, and it was an unconfirmed test, for an unconfirmed substance. Having said that, he along with all of the majors was tested through 2004 until his retirement. Now as far as what type of player he was, he played almost the same amount of games that Edgar Martinez played in the field, and he was and is a far superior hitter than Edgar. It’s not even close. Again, I’m not a Red Sox fan. But as a left handed dominating 3-4 hole hitter, he is as good as it gets, 10 times of over 30 homers, 10 time of over a 100 driven in, including his last year which consisted of  48 doubles, which lead the league, 37 HR’s and a league leading 127 RBI’s driven in his last year of playing at 40 years of age while having an OBP of over 400. He finished with 250 more homers than Edgar, 500 RBI’s, over a hundred more doubles, and was the catalyst and MVP in World Series wins.

Im not trying to be rude, I consider myself a baseball historian of sorts, that guy was a beast. And it was and is way to easy for generations of the past, to pass judgment on the players of today, or not of their generation. Athletes are bigger, faster, stronger, more prepared and devoted than any time in history.

It is also far to easy for people to pass off steroids as an easy out for not voting, or as an act of cheating. How about pre 1965 all players were white basically. You had a few players in the league of color. That means they were not competing against the best talent available. Yes I know when Jackie Robinson came into the league. But it was a slow roll out, hell the Yankees and Sox were way late to the party on black players, let alone players of color. So I can argue that Babe, Joe D, and Stan Musial we’re not facing the best talent available so their stats are in need of an asterisk. As a matter of fact, when those players would barn storm against players of color, they got their asses handed to to them. Routinely.

I’ll take it one step forward, there were coffee pots of leaded and unleaded up until the 1980’s. They had amphetamines that were being passed out. That is a stimulant. In Babes day, there was amphetamines, as well as cocaine, and he faced 7 other teams with 4 pitchers on the staff. He didn’t face 5 man rotations, with lefty and right specialists coming out of the bullpen throwing a 100 mph splitter with a 75mph change up. My point is this, we can’t be so quick to judge, I can make a case for a bunch of players that should not be in the hall from all eras, but Baseball is still the gold standard as far as getting into the best of the best. The 1% of the league. And in my opinion, the DH is a position, guys like Paul Molitor, Eddie Murray, Dave Winfield, and Frank Thomas were all aided by the DH and made the Hall. The list is far more actually. He was not a guy that stuck around and piled on stats to make his case like countless others. Just for fun go look at his last year in the league. It’s crazy dominant. All of this is just my opinion of course.

    Cheers.

I couldn't believe that grown adults had to be told to do those things.

It has certainly shown us how utterly nasty, and gross a lot of people are. I too thought it was a given that you washed your hands, and covered your mouth while coughing and sneezing. While we are on it. I am still confused with those who blow their nose while in a restaurant, at a table, while people are eating. I can’t help but feel that is a bodily function that is best done in a restroom. I personally don’t like to hear people shooting out snot rockets while I’m eating.

I tend to attract women in their mid 20s and up and don't think that's a problem for anyone. As long as consenting adults are honest and kind with each other, it's kinda all good imo.

Im sure OANN, NewsMax, and Fox News are pumping this like crazy. Probably the new intro music to Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck radio shows.

I think the best disinfectant is sunlight, truth. All this shit needs to be taught in schools, warts and all because if the truth is hidden we are doomed to make the same mistakes. Teach about the bullshit crimes against the citizenry of this nation, from the Tuskegee Experiments to MKUltra, to COINTELPRO, to Iran-Contra, to Critical Race Theory. Teach all that shit side by side with the first truly modern representative government since the Roman Republic, freeing the slaves and fighting a just war over the issue, spearheading the industrial revolution and some of the greatest discoveries in history. There is just as much, if not more good to talk about as bad but when you leave the bad out you cannot present a true picture and in fact, you rob the past of its accomplishments and what we have overcome to get where we are. Any fool can build on the success of the past, its when we overcome and build anew that we become visionaries and hero's.

    Awesome! Well said Sir.

Ha Ha!!  I thought you were being a passive D!ck! It's cool though.

If you think what I posted is wrong or misinformed so be it. You can research all of it for yourself and decide for yourself but aside from that I am with you.

I am sick to death of covid.  I and all of my family got covid a couple weeks before Christmas, some of us are vaxed and some were not but we all got over it no problem. My parents are in their 80s, dad vaxed and on chemo, mom not vaxed both doing fine. I think most of it is a control grab using covid as the excuse.

     :drinks:

Naw, I was straight up being a passive Jack ass with the first comment. The reply was to just be straight and admit it.

I agree with some of what you said for sure. But that’s my point, just being able to have a back and forth is something that I feel is being lost. I don’t think that you are wrong and I am right. That’s kind of what I’m saying, getting others perspective is important to me. I have changed my mind on plenty of feelings and thoughts I’ve had through the years. Shit I hope that is considered growth as a human.

And glad to hear your pops was able to muscle through it while undergoing chemo. He is a tuff dude for sure. Hopefully he can beat that and continue to be around. I lost my pops at the young age 56 from cancer, to go through that on its own is tough, to go through it with that and come out is awesome.

    Have a great weekend.

Just read the article. He's firmly entrenched with the right, that's for sure. Still, he has a lot of relevant things to say. I was gonna say something like he needs to dial down the rhetoric, but I think he's playing to his audience so can't find fault with that. Salesmen gonna sell. This passage in particular made me chuckle:

"Between 2009 and 2016, a once relatively stable Greece nearly became a Third World country. So did Great Britain in its socialist days of the 1970s. "

Great Britain had serious problems in the mid to late 70's - basically 74 - 83ish. But nearly becoming a Third World country? That's just crazy talk. The unemployment rate was under 6% for crying out loud. Lots of conflict, violence, polarization, "winter of discontent", for sure. But jeez he is really reaching with that one.

The stuff he says regarding Cali (in other interviews and articles) really hits home as I've lived here since I was 13 and seen it change so much over the decades.

I am a life long Cali Bay Area native. We certainly have seen the changes. The interesting thing I took from the article was that the once revered agencies that have lost public support in my estimation was completely torn apart from the previous administration. I have never seen or heard any other administration prior to his that simply went against them, told as many blatant lies, and actively tried to tear them down. The other was the reference to jailing opposition/opponents. I have also never heard any other political party, President, or presidential hopeful  in my 45 years have rallies where they start, with “ lock her up! Lock him up chant’s “. At least not any that I can remember. There is no doubt we are in the middle of some very trying times, neither party is innocent. But to just simply lay it at the feet of one or the other party is ridiculous, and incredibly naïve. Perhaps dangerous. As a proud American, I really hope that we can all do a little better, bridging some gaps, mending fences, and truly start looking at ways to help all of us. Not just the Red or Blue team/gang that someone wants to be identified with. It seems as if it has done a tremendous amount of damage.

It’s awesome to have convictions, beliefs, and to want to see your ideas and agendas pushed forward, but to do so at the at the expense of others is just not a viable system. As an independent I personally want to see us have some growth, and elect people that are for all of us. Not one or the other. It’s destroying our way of life. Or maybe destroying what our country stood for. I will also say this Woke Generation is becoming or is beyond my ability to understand. I think that’s how I know I’m getting old.

Cheers, and I enjoy your contributions to the site. Cool to read your thoughts on all kinds of shit/stuff.

I could fix that I guess,  I typed that post a bunch of times before i posted it and I think It was supposed to say 'the biggest idiot since the 20th century', I.E. having to go back that far to find one bigger than biden but ended up putting of in there without even knowing it..

    EDIT.

well I guess it's too late to go back and fix it now.

Honestly, it was kind of troll behavior of me to write that. I apologize for that. You have serious convictions about your feelings. Whether I agree with them or not really doesn’t matter. Dialogue is always important to me.

Having said that, I’m vaccinated and had a booster, and I also just got over having Covid. After not having had it since it began. I was kind of disappointed in my blood/immune system. I had it run through my shop on a couple different occasions, and had not gotten sick. The crazy thing was this, my mother-in-law is an organic chemist PHD, as well as being a Nurse for drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities and was able to get us some home test kits because of her job. I tested negative twice while I was feeling like shit, then got a positive test back on the 3rd one. My wife who had pretty much all the same symptoms never tested positive in her two tests.

There is no doubt that it does affect others differently. But at this point I have some serious Covid fatigue and really I’m just at the point of not wanting to hear about all the different variants anymore. We have to just start looking at this as a sickness, like we have looked at all the other sicknesses which we do not have cures for. Again, this is just my opinion, not saying I’m right.

On a side note, I had some really weird side effects from it. I’ve been a gym rat my whole life. Taken many supplements, and the tail end of having Covid I never had more energy, and I felt insanely strong, almost like I had taken a steroid.
I have not ever taken them, but what I imagine they feel like. I have an employee who said that they basically  had the same effects. Massive energy after the initial fatigue, and headaches. I did have some creepy feelings in my spine. Some crazy dull aching pains. That was probably the worst of it.

Cheers everyone, stay safe and healthy.

    Since you mentioned the presser

Joe Biden is the biggest idiot of the 20th century.

Yesterday he doubled down on all his debacles and claimed that he out preformed his campaign promises, inflation is caused by the supply chain and that after 20 years in Afghanistan  there is no easy way to withdraw and then to cap it off he starts talking smack about minor incursions into Ukraine.

I call bullshit on all of those statements.

This idiot put eleven thousand people out of work on day one and destroyed our energy independence in one fell swoop. That started inflation and took more money out of the pockets of people with doubled gas prices yet he says people have more money in their pockets!!

Then this idiot gets 13 American soldiers killed while conducting the worst military drawdown ever.

    I could have done better

    Here's how.

    1. You make the actual decision to leave.

    2. You inventory all personnel, military assets, weapons, vehicles and anyone who helped you.

    3. You figure out how long it will take for everyone and thing to be moved out in a safe and orderly manner.

    4. Then you tell the country when you'll be leaving, If the number crunchers tell you that it will take 6 months you tell them you need 2 years maybe more and then you leave in 6 to 7 months anyway.

    5. You start handing out travel orders in a quiet manner. Once you get all Americans out you start bringing out anyone who helped you then the equipment and all that word covers.

    6. You use Bagram Air Force Base instead of the local airport. This is a no brainer!!

    7. you keep the military in country to till the operation is completed. Another no brainer

    8. When all our stuff is out then and only then do you remove the military and you destroy the bases and anything else we have to leave behind on the way out instead of leaving them behind for the enemy to use against you.

I cant believe this guy is still trying to say there was no other way to do it and NOW he's also saying ONLY his plan can get the country right again.

Biden is a tool for the people controlling him, and those people are as incompetent as I am when it comes to what I know about trigonometry.

His presidency is a true dumpster fire.

Other than the Century thing, seems like you have it all worked out.
