If you haven't noticed the occult and satanic themes (and just general perverse weirdness) openly employed by the ruling class and their media mouthpieces, then you haven't been paying attention.

I’m paying attention John. We just live in a time where there is more access. More access to everything. Good or bad information. We can all dive down rabbit holes. A major difference is you can grab your phone and look up anything you want within seconds. To say that I’m not “ paying attention “ is pretty presumptive. I’m just not grabbing onto some weird blogs, or choosing to believe that people are eating babies and starting pedophile rings to get stronger. Pretty sure during the early part of the 20th century after the Spanish flu, going into the depression, and the start/during World War II there were a lot of people feeling the same way. Imagine if they had the same technology as we do now. As far as perverse, satanic themes, that’s actually not a new thing either. Not new at all. What is more common now is the utter distrust of each other. The actual hate of someone’s belief system, the depths to which people are going to now to hold onto power. There is a lot of good information out there on these very subjects. As stated before, I’m a 45 year old man, I’ve been hearing that it is the end of times my entire life. Growing up going to church, as an adult going to church. It’s one of the reasons I don’t go to church anymore. To practice my spirituality I do not need someone to tell me that someone who behaves a certain way isn’t saved, or those who don’t believe in their god isn’t saved.

How about rather than being so judge mental, rather than thinking al the crazy shit we read or watch is true, getting into service, helping others, putting our principles into practice. Having said that, as bothered as I am by the attitudes of the far right, I’m just as sick of the woke cancel culture left.

    Have a great day John.

Thats the BEST Ive ever heard it put!!!

& I like to add that I LOVE in through the outdoor!  It still had the Superior majesticness, magic HAMMER POWER that no band could say their own music was better than!!!

     This album also contains

    “in the evening”

for god sake !!!! Like you said “unmatched musical genius!!!”

ZEP’s ITOD was “still” sO far ahead of whoever was #2!!

That is also very well put. ITTOD was and is far superior to what was being put out at the time. There are some brilliant moments on that album which have all been mentioned. There are certain tracks which upon first listen I was not really into. But like a lot of things, as I listened  more, read lyrics, listening  to each instrument I started to appreciate those specific tracks much more. It truly is a shame that was all we got, if anything it showed their diversity, and musical genius that they possessed.

I had ITTOD as my second or third album I purchased and was blown away at the difference between their first album and that album. They were constantly changing, growing, moving. As I got older, purchased all of their catalog, and dove into their live work on bootlegs and the live music they made available, I looked at ITTOD as the album that would have been the music playing at the end of their movie while the credits were being rolled out. Coda would have been in the deleted scenes. And I love that album as well. I also think ITTOD has some of Robert’s best lyrics. It’s a deep album lyrically. Bonham was crushing it, and some his best playing, Jimmy’s solo in I’m going to crawl is possible my favorite ever. It’s also one of my favorite vocal performances by Robert. And Jonesy was just doing what he always did, which was being possibly the best musician in the band. That man is simply amazing at every instrument, and is a brilliant arranger.

Steve nailed it, covid was waiting in the wings with Faucci and his gain of function, sole purpose was to  get rid of Trump, shut down world economy, employ unconstitutional voting procedures, delay  and extend voting in 5 swing states, and ultimate goal is not let covid  die but keep it alive, teacher unions refuse to teach, inflation will be as bad as when Carter was in, now democrats , with help of  the far left media want to do away with the fillibuster so  congress can control the vote, Biden and his cronies want us  to blow past socialism and  with warp speed enter communism, wake up folks before were China

I really encourage you to see what and how and who has used the filibuster to their benefit. Which party that is. I also really encourage you to go back to World War II and just see who the economy has done better under. It’s not even close.

And how does our freedoms of being able to mail in vote, early registering, and making it easier to vote have to do with communism. I also think that DC and Puerto Rico should become states. That way they can also have two senators, and equal representation. I mean when the Dakota’s have 4 senators and less people in their states then many cities in our country how is that equal representation. Same with the Virginia, and the Carolina’s. As far as parties going to great lengths to make it harder to vote, their is one party that is the master at it.

If we are to believe that Faucci, and Obama, Biden, and Pelosi all got together with all the worlds governments while practicing satanic rituals, and then said let’s unleash this Plandemic and get rid of Trump for a few years. In that 4 years we can make America a communist country and rule with an iron fist! What’s funny about that is our previous president has some pretty autocratic ideas and thoughts that he and his cronies tried to put into practice, and the gang just couldn’t shoot straight. Also, additionally what is funny, none of the previous presidents sane/non retarded kids push that whole election lie crap. Nor did his Attorney Generals, or his CIA, FBI, department of defense, or any of the other people that he put into place. I guess that the satanic left got them all on board for this massive global conspiracy.

I do agree with you that I’m tired of school districts, and every other place shutting down because of  Covid-19. People who are vaccinated, great. If your not, great. I’m tired of it here in California. I recently had a roll through my company, and I can’t ask for my employees to show me their positive or negative tests. I just have to believe them. And I have a sneaking suspicion that some of them may just be telling me they have it to get a few paid days off. I also agree that the media just helps feed the hysteria of this pandemic. No doubt people have lost lives, loved ones, not been able to see them in their last moments, it has ruined many social events, ruined businesses, peoples financial future. At some point this has to just become what the yearly flu/cold is and we have to deal with it. Shutting down the world just can’t happen anymore. People who don’t get vaccinated and get sick, and perhaps die, that is very sad, those who are vaccinated and survive, good for them. Those who die after being vaccinated, that sucks, those who are not vaccinated and survive that is good.

Maybe we just need to stop thinking that a Democrat president is going to save us, or that a Republican President is going to right the ship. Maybe a panel of presidents would be a better representation of what we need. This team mentality really needs to stop. It’s destroying our country. As a 45 year old white man, I’m tired of old white men telling us what we need.

“The whole country is hating on Novak Djokovic right now because he had the courage to do what most of us did not – stand up for himself.”

No, it’s not, it’s really not.

It’s the Satanic political class, their beauracratic stooges and the entirety of the bought-and-paid-for Australian mainstream media that is “hating on Novak Djokovic”.

The common folk in Australia could care less. A great many of them already ignore the mainstream media, because they know what’s going on.

This is a controlled narrative which is subordinate to the Satanists’ Corona Chan “pandemic” narrative, a key part of their depopulation plan.

“When news broke earlier this week that Novak was going to be allowed to play in Australia, a Victorian journalist tweeted: ‘If we still have crowds at the Australian Open by the time it starts, it’s the duty of every Australian to boo Novak relentlessly between sets. Shit is absolutely f***ed.’”

A Victorian “journalist”? Really? How about we just call a spade a spade – a Victorian presstitute paid by his Globalist masters to spew lies to support the official position of the Satanists entrenched throughout the Australian governments.

Why would anyone be concerned about a brainless lying presstitute’s paid anouncement on a Globalist media platform like Twitter?

For that matter, why breathe life into that venemous tirade by repeating it?

“‘Rules are rules,’ Prime Minister Scott Morrison insisted, when announcing to the baying Twitter mob that Novak’s visa had been cancelled.”

There’s that Globalist-controlled propaganda machine again – Twitter.

Sure, it matters to the Satanists’ controlled narrative – but only for that diminishing proportion of the population that still give it any credence.

Here’s a small measure that might help to restore public confidence in the official narrative – drag Hill Song pedophile and closet Satanist Morrison and all his ilk out into the street and string every last one of them up on a lamp post.

Seems like a very loving Christian thing to say. Just accuse people of being pedophiles, and satanists and kill them. What is scary is that usually those are the very people who are usually the most evil. Also, people should be careful of accusing others of such acts and beliefs.

I hope to god you haven’t gone down that rabbit hole of far right wing propaganda Steve. I want to believe that this is you being sarcastic. Not actually believing in some crazy right wing bat shit crazy theories of pedophile baby eating pizza parlors. Come on man. I’ve read almost every post you have written on this site. Say it ain’t so Steve!

TL, DR,  There are far more intelligent people out there than you or I who have legitimate questions. Instead of doubting them, maybe you should listen and understand that fauci is not the only doctor in the world and that our personal freedom to make our own medical decisions doesn't go away because you or fauci feel differently.

Yes you are correct that there are far more intelligent people than the both of us who may have different views, and perspectives than I do. Or you. And I’m not saying Fauci is the answer. I’m also not saying he is not a politician, or that he is the end all, be all.

Again this is anecdotal, my Mother-in-law is an organic chemist who has worked for Roach and Genentech for over 30 years. Considering that she has been intimately involved in making many life saving drugs, and is pretty in the know on the chemical make up of the vaccines, I trusted her opinion. When this all began, Covid that is. I was a firm believer that is was crap, and that it was a flu, and that it was no big deal. Well, it is all of those things. It is also a big deal to all of those who have lost their lives, and as importantly who will never be the same because of it and it’s side effects. Largely which are not fully known. We can all go round and round on the entire progress of this illness, and the vaccine. Some things are just common sense, and it seems like there are a lot of people who lack common sense. There are also far more conspiracy theorists, or our access to these conspiracy theories are far more accessible than ever before. People also like to push their theories more than ever before because there are far more platforms to be able to do so.

There was a hilarious segment done by Jordan Klepper on the croud who believes we can make it go away by yoga, or breathing, or by some other nonsense. My point is, that on both sides we have individuals, and large groups who are getting their information from less than reliable sources. Then passing that on in a less than reliable way, and presenting it as if it is a fact.

The common sense part is, certainly our health and lack of health is a reason we are being hit as hard as we are. Collectively as Americans. The group mentality of some, for example, those who are at risk, should probably mask up, make sure and wash up, and try and mitigate their risk to getting this. Those who want to get the vaccine, get it. Those who do not, don’t. But if you are not getting the vaccine, to walk around with the attitude of don’t tread on me, and you’re taking away my rights just seems a bit silly. As Americans, we have had to make sacrifices over the years. Many times. I just don’t see this as being all that different.

The new culture of not believing anything that is given to us by reliable sources and believing someone on a blog, or YouTube channel because it fits our narrative is far more commonplace than it ever has been. I am also not saying that is what you are doing. Just pointing out that it is a fact.

I would also like to say that I certainly do not know all that is going on behind closed doors, with our government, as well as other governments. I do not know if this is as serious as we are being force fed. The seriousness of it, I can only go by what is in my corner of the world, as well as what I can read and or watch and try and gather as much information as possible. I would just choose to not get my info from a blog, or any social media, or what some random person tells me, or a friend etc. Fact checking what we read, or a report that we watch is pretty important as well. And then if I’m told we can’t trust the fact checkers, then what can we trust?

Right on Hummingbird69. Thanks for the reply and your thoughts on it.

Honestly that made me spit the coffee out of my nose/face when I read it. Thank you for the laugh today Mr. Jones!

Also thank you for the thread. Richards book was one of the first books I got when I started getting deep into Zeppelin as a teenager. While I’m sure certain parts were maybe exaggerated, I also tend to think that much more of it was his true recollections of the times and experiences. Doesn’t make them accurate, or exactly what it was. But it was to him I believe. What a life he lived.

I would have loved to have had a conversation or two with him. He is truly a remarkable story. When you consider what he participated in the 70’s to have come out of that alive is a miracle. Then to have had the second or third act is pretty incredible. Bless his family and friends. He will be missed by many.

this is even funnier :hysterical:  :hysterical:  :hysterical:  you're sooooo part of the problem

Well Sir, I suppose I’m glad you have me labeled as that, and we have come to that conclusion. Aside from posting on this forum, checking out all the interesting thoughts and views of a majority of the people on this forum I do actively try and participate in my community. If your opinion of me, is that I am part of the problem because I hope that people don’t actually think Joy and Whoopi are all that informed, or influencing all that many people, and that Jan 6th was a sickening display, and was certainly not looked at as a staged event from anyone other than some crazy people on blogs, or someone who happens to have some crazy YouTube channel, I guess I would be part of your problem.

I suppose wanting people to try and see others perspectives, not wanting to gaslight, not wanting seemingly educated people to get their news from daytime talk show hosts, not wanting people to form their views from extremely slanted blogs, or as Strider said any of the opinion based news programs that are actively trying to scare the hell out of most Americans. To continue putting them/us in our respective corners, going to great lengths to try and make sure that like minded adults who come from different cultures, economic conditions, different backgrounds can’t actually rally as a nation and get behind each other, as well as get behind our elected officials and actually make a difference, then yes I’m part of your problem.

Having said all of that Hummingbird69, I hope you have a great weekend, and that you and yours continue to be healthy. Also back to the topic, although this is purely anecdotal, pre vaccine, in my circle I had a 36 year old brother in-law who had no known health problems pass away from Covid. At my former company I worked for, we had 30 plus people get Covid, one guy I’ve know for over 25 plus years will never be off of an oxygen tank after this because his lungs apparently have been damaged so severely they won’t heal. Would this vaccine have saved my brother-in-law’s life? I don’t know? Would it have helped my buddy enough to not have to be on an oxygen tank for the rest of his life? I really don’t know. I’ve said it a few times, I had never had a flu shot pre Covid, and actually I still have not had a flu shot unless you count the Covid vaccination. The reason I bring that up, I certainly won’t be getting my news, forming opinions, or taking advice from any of the above mentioned formats. Alright, sorry to be long winded. You have a great night.

These people who you say nobody knows have the number 1 ranked tv daytime talk show with 2.4million viewers daily.  Hardly a small viewership.  When joy behar tells you that everyday medicine is bad and then tells you that any one who disagrees with her is spreading misinformation, you have a fucking problem whether you want to admit it or not.  Couple that with social media and big tech pushing the same story and you have reached hundreds of millions of people.

That’s 2.4 old housewives out of 350 plus million if you are counting the illegals you love to think about. I don’t know about the social media aspect of Joy. I’m telling you she doesn’t mean shit to anyone and you want to argue your point with. You are grabbing some view, from a crazy old lady on a day time talk show who I seriously doubt has that many viewers. On top of that, there are a few people on that show who don’t agree with her. Yes I’m saying you shouldn’t worry about a 70 year old lady who is talking trash on a daytime television show. And don’t get your news from a social media platform. Those who do are just as bad as those getting their news and forming opinions based off of crazy blogs. Or maybe put it this way. Those who read Zerohedge, and Breitbart are the exact same as those who watch and pay attention to Joy Behart. She is a talking head personality, the same way they are. They are not an authority on anything. All of them. Just a dipshit with a forum. A way to spread their views. She is not a journalist the same way some jackass who writes his opinions on a blog. Pretty easy. Also, the name of the said show, is “ The View “! Not “ The Facts”! Or “ No Spin Zone” or Zerohedge!

Anybody who thinks what happened on Jan 6th was a "violent insurrection" is seriously detached from reality.  When did America become such a nation of brainwashed degenerates?  It's embarrassing, really.

That’s the thing about opinions. That statement is to some the epitome of being brainwashed. We all watched the same thing. You on the one hand see it as some staged event. Even when we were all being told that the event was happening. And the event was planned by that orange bad man. In my opinion to see it any other way than a bunch of backwards hillbilly’s thinking they were going to somehow change the rigged election was laughable, until it turned deadly, and until it turned into one of  the biggest black eyes in American politics during our lifetime. Certainly the Kennedy assassination, then his brother. Those were pretty crazy, sickening events that happened. Having said that because I am seriously interested, how am I detached from reality thinking that what happened on the 6th wasn’t  a “violent insurrection”?

I think that the lady who had her head blown off, the cop who was crushed to death, the idiots running around with zip ties and stealing shit and videoing it kind of spoke for itself. I’ll put it this way. Anyone who thinks it was a staged event, and that someone other than the actual people who talked about it openly for a month leading up to it is seriously detached from reality. My point is. What the hell does that mean. We are on a vaccine portion of a Led Zeppelin forum. Don’t get the vaccine. It’s cool. Go read Zerohedge, and Breitbart, and continue to be a “ Brainwashed Degenerate “.

Remember the impact a little TV host had on the beef industry?

Winfrey’s Texas beef began in April 1996, when her talk show aired an episode on food safety. A segment included discussion of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, commonly known as mad cow disease, which had recently killed cattle in England. Howard Lyman, a vegetarian and animal rights activist, predicted on the show that the disease would eventually plague the U.S. beef industry. Winfrey declared that the discussion “has just stopped me cold from eating another burger. I'm stopped."

The segment, which also included a clip from a beef industry expert, was widely viewed as having contributed to a drop in cattle prices. Members of the cattle industry were furious, as was one of their biggest cheerleaders, U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry, who was then the Texas agriculture commissioner.

Within days, Perry wrote a letter to Texas Attorney General Dan Morales, urging the state to take legal action against Lyman under a Texas law that was less than a year old. Throughout the early 1990s, about a dozen states adopted “veggie libel” laws that made a person liable for making false statements about the safety of food. The Texas Legislature passed such a law in 1995.

"The economic livelihood of our beef producers is at stake, and I trust agriculture can count on the attorney general's office to enforce the laws of the state of Texas," Perry said at the time.

I guess if you would like to cherry pick one situation. I’m sure that there are others as well. That has nothing to do with most people have no clue who Joy Behar is. Or for that matter give a shit about her thoughts. But by quoting her, and picking her out of the crowd to prove a point and or make a point about an entire group of people and their political leaning is crazy. Joy Behar, Whoopie, and whoever else is on that show are watched by how many Americans? How many of those base their opinions off of what they say verses the other talking heads that are on that show and clearly are aiming at a small portion of the population?

This one is though.  Fixed it for you.

You don't have any training in anything to call your opinions fact.  I get the impression you lean libertarian, but your recent deluge of opinionated posts and cartoons remind me of Trump supporters who seem convinced that hats, t-shirts, boat flags, lawn signs, and rally attendance, somehow reflect voting outcomes.  You only get one vote, and you only get one opinion.

As for Dr. Fauci, if he was fired tomorrow, the only thing that might change is a new appointee who feels even stronger than he does about the subject, as an overwhelming majority of doctors in his field do.  Of course he's a politician.  It's the nature of the position.  I suggest that instead of googling bat shit crazy websites, you take some time and determine a percentage of the people in Dr. Fauci's field who back him up, as opposed to those qualified who don't.  Feel free to get back with us with your findings.

    Very well said Sir.

They both talked down the vax believe it or not, saying anything about trump and the vax was their way of making it a bad thing until they were in power.

Who's life has been destroyed?. Have you not seen how many people have been fired over not being vaxed? those people will not be able to work anywhere if there is a vax mandate that seems like destroying people to me.

The recovery rate for this virus is 98.9% recovered? with at least 170 million people who had absolutely no symptoms or at best mild ones. WHY should I get junk dna put in my body if it doesn't really work? it's a not a true vaccine. A true vaccine eliminates the virus by not just attacking one part of the dna chain but attacks the ends where the virus mutates and other parts as well, thats how a virus is eliminated. This vaccine only targets one part of the virus which allows it to continue to mutate which is why all the variants are emerging.

I am 55 years old. I know politicians lie but the dems took it to a whole knew level with their lies about trump and by extension the 75 million people who voted for him.

I do not even know what 4chan is or the qannon shit they were all on about. I do not visit those sites so I cannot say anything about them and what they espouse.

Assuming that people only go with one perspective is stupid. I do not make my decisions based on what some blogger says or what a politician says.

For people on the left to make that call and think it's meaningful shows how out of touch they are.

joy behar for example says she wouldn't take any medicine that trump said might work but now she's all in on the vaccine that the trump admin brought to market in record time (another reason why I do not trust the vax) . How do you think she would feel if she woke up one day and had a problem with the next mandate because her own doctor told her not to do it? do you think she's tow the line or be canceled by her co hosts?  She literally called one of her video guests nuts for taking hydroxychloroquine and said he was crazy for taking a drug that could kill you. She knows damn well that that drug has been around for 65 years and that millions of people have taken it safely yet she still talks it down along with ivermectin which even I know has been approved for human use by the fda but she says its horse dewormer and then tells you that anyone who disagrees with her is spreading misinformation.

As long as people like her and the left have the power to lie, censor, and cancel, this country will go nowhere but deeper into shit.

I wasn’t aware that a woman from the view had any power beyond some house wives, and to be fair in this new cancel culture house husbands? Who the hell is Joy Behar other than some woman on some dumb talk show. And look, you win. You are correct, when the other side had control of all the branches of government the US was in a much better place for those who have those leanings and feelings towards the other side. That is my exact point. And Qanon and the other site mentioned are actively quoted and believed by several of our elected officials. Actually more than I would think was possible a few years ago.

As I said earlier, getting the vaccine or not getting it. I believe it should be a personal decision. As far as lived being destroyed by this 98.9% survival rate flu, you are correct, the roughly 1 million Americans who have died and several million people on the planet who have passed away from it have had their lives destroyed and their families. By not getting the vaccine which is what you were referring to in that comment. I wasn’t aware of your life being destroyed because people were deciding to not get it. Having said that, I can see how certain companies, different sectors of the work force and etc. would be able to destroy someone’s life if they did not choose to get the vaccine. You are correct.

As far as the vaccine being brought to market in record time I thought that was because of all the hard work the former administration did to make that happen. Hell,  he was vaccinated. And calling one party out for lies borders on ridiculous for me. I don’t know that we ever watched, saw, or were force fed as many lies as the previous administration did. They all lie. We keep voting them in based on the team mentality. Because someone doesn’t like the red or blue team.

It would seem that the two party system is broke. There was a time when honorable people were in politics. And there are still a lot of them who are. But the popularity contest system doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Especially when the person who actually wins the popularity contest doesn’t actually get to be the winner. As for the 74 million Americans who voted for the previous administration that was a lot. There just happened to be 80 plus million who voted against him.

While you sleep forces that you know nothing about are moving the world toward a one world government. It's happening in increments and we are heading further and further down a road we can never come back from.   Ole Brandon is on video downplaying the vax before he was elected, why wasn't he and kamala accused of spreading misinformation???    He said He wouldn't trust a vaccine that came out of the trump admin and yet here he is now telling people to trust him and that the vaccine is good for you. Doesn't matter that it doesn't keep you from getting or spreading the virus you will comply with the gov or be punished by having your life destroyed.

There is no way tell if they indeed got the vaccine you only have their word to go on and to me their word isn't worth shit.

Brandon and Kamala in fact did not say that they did not trust the vaccine. They did however say they did not trust the Orange Orangutan’s  rollout of said vaccine. I would suggest fact checking. There were videos spliced together to make it appear as if that is what was said. While it was not.

I agree that the vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting it, and it does not stop you from spreading it. It does however reduce the risk of getting really sick. How is anyones life being destroyed who doesn’t get the vaccine? And not trusting that Biden and or Kamala, or anyone got the vaccine is just more conspiracy theory beliefs and practices. Did Trump and his family, and cabinet not get the vaccine?

I understand being skeptical of our government and elected officials. But to anyone who has ever signed on to any 4-Chann, or Quackanon site that is where they lose any credibility. The scary thing is we have elected officials who are actively participating in those sites, and beliefs. To believe that all of the world’s governments are in on this plan, and this “ New World Order” is part of it? That is exhausting. I am 45 and I have been hearing about the New World Order since I was a kid. It happened to be that I first heard it in a conservative church that our family attended. And I still only hear about it from one side. Maybe, just maybe the Christian Fundamentalists are the ones trying to have this one world government? Under the guise of it being a lefty scam?

I don’t know, get the vaccine, don’t get it. Hate one side, and only believe some jaded blog that feeds our own political leanings and beliefs. I just don’t see how that helps? Conversation, listening to other perspectives, compassion, trying to figure it out as a community.

Good day to you Sir. I hope that you and yours stay healthy, and that we can all try and move forward and beyond this crazy sickness we have all had to deal with.

    Cheers.

Point 1.... yeah, that is a good point and should be considered when health/Govt officials are hashing out policy direction. I'm unsure if that equals "immunity" - but ok.

Point 2.... So that is a good thing for that person. There is no doubt being vaccinated puts you in a far better position should you catch it. Yeah you still are infectious and spread it, but the vaccination is meant to mitigate the more extreme effects up to and including death - which I don't think is in question. Even here where we were largely successful in keeping numbers low our public hospital system was strained to near break point and thousands of nurses have now left the industry due to pure burn out.

"planned-demic".... I'm unsure how to take that. I'll assume it in the best possible way (as being polite is important) but that term certainly does indicate a belief in a global conspiracy that this was whole thing was planned for whatever reason by whatever "global forces" I presume? Which is insane. Again, I'll presume humour/sarcasm/fun/whatever else - not literal.

The feral governments didn't go that route because there's neither monetary nor political gain in doing so.... So ALL Western democracies are in on it - or ALL Governments see through the lens of political gain above anything/everything that crops up in their respective countries up to and including a global pandemic? The first thought of EVERY Government is how to leverage the situation for power and wealth??? I fucking hope not Steve, Jeeeez, I am incredibly sceptical of Government - especially two party systems and how stupid, irrelevant and corrosive two party bullshit systems are to efficient and strong democracy that truly serve the people, but that does seem over the top cynical/conspiratorial. I don't see our Government here like that. No chance. And like I said, they are mostly self serving cunts for the most part, but at least here they stick to policy that actually is accepted by the majority of the electorate. And I don't think our lot are clever enough to masquerade and cover truly fucked up evil intent.

This was NEVER about a virus, the virus is merely a means to an end..... Agree to disagree. You/I/others might not like how it was dealt with or the response, but I don't get the leap to "means to an end" theory. However, I do think it is already evident (pre-pandemic) the west is becoming more a variant of authoritarianism in some ways, I get that (and think that's unfortunately very real) - so the framework within which a response is constructed could therefor not go against the movement toward more granular control because that is how everything is already heading (bigger picture - pre-pandemic) - but I don't think in and of itself the virus and response is "a means to an end". I hope that makes sense.

    Great Post.

    Sorry for the length.

cnn msnbc miles ahead???  no way. They are THE most fake news out there.

For the record, cnn nor msnbc  have never actually retracted ANY of the lies they spewed about trump, as for the other FAKE stories they pushed, (Covington smollett ect)  the retractions or "updates" are more than wanting.

Ex. Rittenhouse, I saw the video, I know the circumstances because I watched the trial and yet all the people on cnn and msnbc the view and the like still say the trial was, "unjust" "racist" and "people can just shoot protestors with impunity and get away with it" and other ridiculous lies while at the same time trying to make heroes out of a man who had raped 5 young boys and a man who was running around the town himself with an unlicensed gun and yes he's a hero too. You know there were never any gun charges brought against him for that but lets turn the FBI onto regular everyday people who are concerned over the shit they want to feed our kids in school and telling us it's all phony news drummed up by the right all while I see the stuff posted on their own websites and its clear that CRT is a big part of what they want teachers to push.

I watch news that shows the evidence they support rather than news that views their "opinions" as evidence and fact. ex. Because whoopi and joy reed didn't like the verdict in the rittenhouse trial it's now a fact that rittenhouse is a murderer.

I will never ever take one word that comes from cnn or msnbc and all the other left leaning news orgs as even remotely true because they love to distort and twist the actual events to suit their own ideology. ex. Hilary did nothing wrong in deleting 30,000 emails ahead of any investigation.

I don't need anyone to tell me it's right or wrong because I know for myself that it's completely wrong.

Another thing I don't like about the lefty sites is that all their talking heads blame my not taking the vax on trump as if I blindly do what he says or says not to do. I think they should look at their own selves because I have seen so many montages of them all using the exact same language on 20 different shows. Talk about towing a line.

This country is going to fall because these woke jokes want to change it into something they want. Too bad none of their supporters realize that in the end, if they aren't beautiful enough they themselves will ALL be canceled too. The ultimate goal of the left isn't to raise up the poor and minorities (as they say) but to bring down the middle class to the level of the poor so we can all be more easily controlled.

What would joy behar or whoppi for that matter say if either of them were canceled for being on the wrong side of the next issue. I wonder if they would be so ready to be called a murderer or end up on an fbi watch list for their opinions.

I really appreciate your passion and stance. If you simply Google MSNBC, or CNN and retracted stories on reports that are reported incorrectly you would find that yes they in fact do retract stories. I could link them for you. But it is really easy to look it up. Fox News and MSNBC and CNN do not fall under the same journalistic umbrella. And OAN or Breitbart, or any of the other crazy blogs do not. And I’m not saying that they are the only news source, or the source I go by. I in fact do not. I stick to NPR, the AP, BBC, Reuters, Washington Post, the New York Times, Politico. To compare those publications to Zerhedge, or Breitbart is laughable.

To say that MSNBC or CNN didn’t report Hillary’s 30,000 emails is just simply not true. But to have heard Hannity or Tucker or any of the other maniacs report on her let alone any other democratic candidates or representatives is just straight up fiction. We can all look up if Fox News falls under the same guidelines, principals, and practices as the other major news networks. They in fact do not. Because they are opinion based.

To take it a step further, I’m good with whatever anyone’s political leanings are. I personally vote on policy. I don’t identify with any party. I personally think that is the problem with our nation. I also do not fall into the “ our nation is going to crumble if the lefties take over” crowd. That’s a joke. We have heard the same scare tactics for years from one camp. We could get into who does better economically under which party, or what the economy is like under which party. Facts matter. The numbers are really easy to look up. Conspiracy, and lies, and misinformation is sexy. Spreading dumb rumors, Or exaggerating is also easy and ignorant. If we as a society would simply listen to each other, hold our elected officials responsible, and maybe even try and look at other perspectives instead of being on the red or blue team, maybe we would all be in a better place.

So Lefties as you said, or the religious Right. That doesn’t matter. People, jobs, health, resources. Those are the things as a father and a small business owner I care about. And this Woke culture, it is beyond disappointing and despicable in my opinion, I find them as dangerous as any group. And they who judge and are quick to tear someone down for past discretions, or behaviors will have to pay the price if they have skeletons in their closets. I’m about building someone up, not tearing someone down. On Rittenhouse and knowing the facts, I’ll leave that alone. As far as rapists, and and a guy who openly raped 5 young men, I do not know what that’s about. But cool story bro. How about be kind, do not try and billy bad ass and maybe listen to others with open ears and read and watch other perspectives.

Bless you and yours. Hope you have a great Holiday. Actually I hope you have a great Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or whatever you prefer to celebrate.

Native Californian but write and spell quite specifically Brit English?  I enjoyed the story and appreciate the effort, even if I believe it quite fictional.

Strider, not that I need to defend you. Because I certainly do not. And your credibility on this forum is as credible as can be.

As for Mr BoogieWoogit, being skeptical, or cynical can be useful. Having said that, my parents went to several of the shows at the Fillmore in 69 as well as Winterland. And they were stoned out of their minds. They did not keep a journal as did our amazing Mr Strider. Their recollection of their 6 separate concerts was amazing to me when I heard and compared against Dave Lewis’s concert files. Down to very minute details. And this was from 1 Greaser, hard ass Marine good looking crazy wanting to start a fight wherever he went man, and a want to be hippy Mother who was trying to keep her bad ass Marine out of all the destruction he was trying to create. I bring this up because, I was a child of those parents, and encouraged to keep a journal as a young age, I pride myself on my memory and although some things may change with time, having kept a journal as I know Mr Strider did I find it slightly disrespectful to call it fictitious, or fictional. Even if you say you like it. That’s questioning someone’s credibility.

I apologize if it seems as if I’m giving a lesson or calling you out. That’s not what I want to do. But when you read someone’s story, and then question their intentions, and their honesty, and say that you enjoyed it. I personally find that to be hurtful and dismissive.

Strider, thank you again for the recollection, it’s insanely cool. I wish I could have been there with you man. Sorry to ramble on.

  18. This History channel has been running a WWII program all day today. Man, talk about men and women who knew the meaning of sacrifice. That’s not to say that we didn’t make mistakes. But I was more than inspired and maybe a little bit afraid of our future. That generation was ready to face whatever was put in its way. To say that they were inspiring us an understatement. God bless all of those involved.

CNN MSNBC are the kings of fake news and misinformation

That is my point. But yet people will quote Breitbart, and other outrageous blogs and some how do not see the comparison. Just for the record, if MSNBC, or CNN report a bogus story, change the facts, or misinformed the public they actually have to do a redacted story and admit their fault. When you are a blogger you are not held to the same standards and practices. For example Fox News is not held to the same standard as those same news agencies I mentioned above. And I’m not saying that I agree or watch them. However, I would take their news reports over the others mentioned any day of the week.

I have mentioned this a few different times now. The problem is we are all in our respective corners. People are on the red team or the blue team. It is actually the same thing as gang mentality. We need to stop being the crips and the bloods. Goddamn, start being an American and voting your conscious.

The reason we are where we are is because we have allowed our elected officials to not be responsible for their actions. Sorry to ramble, yes MSNBC, and CNN are not the best. They are miles ahead of Breitbart and Fox News who are just opinionated hacks who are controlled by their financial backers. I really hope that some people check into the differences between the news agencies we are talking about. If not. I guess it is just more of the same shit.

If we could have anything from an actual new source I might be inclined to believe it. But I have checked every reputable new source and have not seen anything like this. Even on click bait news rags that you certainly wouldn’t agree with. I’ve been able to come up with Quarantine facilities for travelers. And I’m not saying that I agree with that. I don’t. But the headlines and from the crazy’s from Breitbart and the other crazy blogs are just a bit over the top. It’s funny when established news agencies who have been around for hundreds of years have become fake news from the king of fake news.

To think that publications, and websites, and actual journalists who publish anything that isn’t true and have to do redacted stories, have to have their reputations along side with sensationalist bloggers who don’t have a degree let alone any integrity, is just mind blowing to me. But I guess that is the internet age we live in, where if you have enough Instagram followers, or a YouTube channel, or you are an influencer you can throw your hat into the same ring as people who actually have integrity, morality, and character.

When someone quotes Breitbart, that’s like quoting the onion. Any source that pushes propaganda, conspiracy theories, and all the utter bullshit that they do is laughable. I’ll start quoting CNN, and MSNBC and see where that gets me.

the funny thing is, those sources actually have to fact check their new sources, and their stories. And if they report it incorrectly they actually have to correct for fear of liable laws. I actually think of Breitbart and Zerohedge like I think of Weird Al. It’s Parody at best. And dangerous at worst.

Sorry Rick. I thought you knew of my loathing of the Eagles.

I didn't so much mind their early albums like "Desperado" and saw them open for Yes in 1972 and at Cal Jam 1974. They rode the coattails of what the Byrds, Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers started.

But when they became whining cocaine L.A. cowboys and polished all of the soul and grit and passion out of their music, I found them boring. Then, when I found out what jerks Frey and Henley were, I found them loathsome. They represented the worst of what was called the "L.A. sound" in the 1970s. At least Steely Dan had some humour and quirkiness.

As for the Eagles being the best band from the U.S., that's your right as a fan to think so.

But I'm sure fans of the Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, ZZ Top, James Brown, The Doors, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, Velvet Underground, Aerosmith, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Beach Boys would all beg to differ and all have valid arguments in favour of them.

Those are all great choices of bands that would be able to have a pretty good argument. And those are all from pretty much the same generation. We could also throw in Janes Addiction, and a host of other bands who came out of the late 80’s early 90’s Gen. The Eagles always bothered me as well. No question that they had some talented musicians, and could right some catchy songs. But Henley and Frey did seem extremely pompous, and one could say that Don was just an ass.

As a side note, I’m pretty sure that Don Felder wrote the melody/music to Hotel California. I’ve heard him talk about it several times and he has joked that they tried to sue him over his own music. I don’t think Joe badass Walsh even got a writers credit on the song.

The current administration is communist, and yes fake news, only the news they want you to see and hear.

How come nothings been said about Hunter Biden's laptop and the content on it? If that were one of Trumps kids, they'd want to burn him at the stake.

So yes the craziness has been overwhelmingly from one side, the new administration.

Hey RainbowElf, we will have to agree to disagree. As a 45 year old man who has followed politics going back to the Regan Mondale election of 84, I can’t think of a crazier time in our history than the one we just got out of. I’m not saying I’m a fan of the current administration. But simply in my lifetime the amount of utter bullshit and crazy wacky conspiracy theory pushing nonsense was at an all time high.

I am fairly certain that I have an understanding of communism. I personally think that is a slight stretch to accuse, and compare this administration to communism. But bless you for trying.

    Be well RainbowElf!

Well, TBH, I tend to ignore any information given by a failed ophthalmologist who got his ass severely beat down by his 59 year old neighbor due to landscaping issues. A guy who literally cannot take care of his own yard is in no position to dictate or advise anyone on anything. Plus his wig looks ridiculous. Must have looked hilarious when his neighbor tackled his ass and his wig went flying.

👊great post. Rand needs to focus on the welfare rate in his poor white state. Rather than talking shit to his neighbor and getting the piss beat out of him for getting lippy! That neighbor by the way was sued by Rand and has to pay 500K in damages for the 6 ribs he broke. I’m embarrassed for him and his wig.

What are some other fun conspiracies that were actually talked, tweeted, and in interviews given by Lumpy. Oh the time to have personally witnessed Muslims in Jersey celebrating 9/11 but he was also in Manhattan, climate change is a Chinese made up plan to make American manufacturing non competitive. Unemployment was at 42% under his predecessor, vaccines cause autism. A funny one was the fake Sweden terrorist attack that never happened, there is a group that has those conspiracy theories on lock. Got to give it to them. Consistency is key.
