It's funny when you listen to the Plantations one after the other. He really does sound like a stand up comedian. Perhaps it could've been a second career for him.

Another fave of mine is from 1975 (St. Louis or Vancouver - right now I can't remember which). Jimmy has something - not sure what - on stage and Plant says "ohhh who's the lucky girl??? Jimmy has that, and all I have is this pencil, perhaps it's because it's made of LED! Oohhhhhhhh" All he needed was Bonzo to do the "bada bah" thing with the drums after, and it would've been perfect!

I literally LOL'd over this one. Considering Robert's humour, I wouldn't be surprised if he did actually sing this at show or another. After reading all this filthy talk about IMTOD from Van 1975 - I'm going to have to listen to that again. Ha! I thought perhaps he said something along those lines... but wasn't so sure. I understand that! I'm a very new fan to Robert (and Zep) myself. I had always thought he was a good looking guy, but never really paid attention as to how beautiful he actually was (is!). But I do remember watching TSRTS before I was a fan and literally losing my breath looking at Robert during the scene where he's walking with his family. I remember thinking he was the most perfect man ever. I need to find some screenshots of that! Edited to say: Found it! A little blurry, but you get the idea.
