Well the teenagers that are on the damb cell phones 24/7 and revolve their life around them do piss me off too. Its such bullshit. When we were growing up we went out and did things like play sports or went ice skating, etc. Now these teenagers are getting fat sitting at their computers talking to ten people at once and textiing on their cells at school. so to that degree, I agree with you totally.
You mean like this?

One of my dreams in life is to meet you in the flesh Dzldoc. You truly are an interesting person! That is a compliment.

Get yourself one of those cell phone's with a camera. cheap as hell now.

Lunch in the French Quarter and a walk along the river with a beautiful lady.I'm not trying to involve myself in your personal affairs- but I thought you were already married, unless you're talking about your wife?
No! that would have read...
Lynch in the French Quarter and a drag to the river with an ugly bitch!
In all seriousness though, she made a statement that didn't take long for me to understand.
If there are any doubts about my sincerity I have nothing to hide, it's all a part of public record for anyone that wants to view.

i would never eat oysters on the half shell, lol. I do however like fried oysters, but have only had them a few times. First in New Orleans, and then at a delicious Cuban restaurant downtown.
I don't care for raw oysters either, I've tried them straight out of the water and onto my boat. Salty tasting but I didn't like the way they felt in my mouth

Sounds good. I ate there once or twice. I remember having a shrimp platter there. I think i also had a late dinner there at the bar. Your lunch sounds good, i wouldn't eat what your date had. Glad you had a nice time!
Women always seem to eat light on a first date
-
Oh where did you dine? What did you order? Sounds good. Oh and how was the date? lol...

I had a marinated grilled shrimp po-boy and she had cajun sushi =The New New Orleans Specialty! Half Shell Oysters served with Wasabi, Tabasco Soy Sauce and Chopsticks.
Went very well, something new hadn't been to the Quarter in years.

SteinMart I got a scarf similar to the one I saw and wanted on my last trip, although I had to pay $26.99.
The scarf I went in for looked like this; only in different colors (chartreuse green, pink, blue, cream); I wanted it to go with a chartreuse sweater I got there last trip:

Unfortunately they were out of those scarves (they had hats/gloves) but had a different Steve Madden scarf in a similar color scheme (black, chartreuse, lavender, turquoise) that's longer, with crocheted circles stitched together and fringies, so I bought that one. I can't find a picture anywhere on the 'net though!

Very cool Dzldoc! I saw the Beatles too, here:

I still have my program with my ticket stub stapled inside. I was as high up in the nosebleed section as one could be. My husband thinks it's funny to tell people that I saw the Beatles in concert and then leave them wondering how old I am. I was 7, and the guest of a friend and her mother.
Hi MSG, actually I was only 5yo when they came to New Orleans My older sister went to see them though

I remember seeing these guys at the "Warehouse" in New Orleans back in the late 70's
What a party band these guys were. Always a great time at one of their concerts.
Anyone have stories of attending a J.Geils concert?

How's it going "ally?" After the huge success of THE THREE DOG NIGHT THREAD, I get the feeling that a lot of fellow ZEPPELIN fanatics are going to be STEELY DAN fans as well. ROCK ON!
Hey ZFF, you know it! This might not be his best but it has a special place in my past
