I wanted to see a Red Sox versus Braves, but happy Atlanta finally got back to the World Series. Hope the Houston Cheaters croak early in the series.Â

He's undoubtedly another one of these Millennial journalists who thinks Bon Jovi is classic rock.Â
He was onstage and did perform as a second drummer.

Jimmy Page says it was a mistake to hire Phil Collins for Led Zeppelinâs Live Aid reunion
"We were in real trouble"
By
Tom Skinner 14th October 2021Jimmy Page has said that it was a mistake to enlist Phil Collins to fill in on drums for Led Zeppelin at Live Aid.
Collins and drummer Paul Martinez both played live with the reunited Led Zep â Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones â at the legendary 1985 concert, as did bassist Tony Thompson.
Speaking in a new interview with The Times and The Sunday Times, Page admitted it was ânot very cleverâ to reform the band, who had split in 1980 following the death of their drummer John Bonham.
âThe drummer couldnât get the beginning of âRock And Rollâ,â Page explained about Live Aid. âSo we were in real trouble with that.â
He also told The Times that Led Zeppelin had less than two hours to rehearse for their three-song set, which included the classics âWhole Lotta Loveâ and âStairway To Heavenâ.
Led Zeppelin went on to reunite again in 2007 for a performance at The O2 in London. Recalling how nervous he felt ahead of the concert, Page told The Times: âA lot more could go wrong. I didnât want to be the one making the mistake.â
Phil Collins reflected on the disastrous Live Aid show during an interview last year, explaining: âIf I could have walked off, I would have done, âcause I wasnât needed and I felt like a spare part.â
The majority of the Genesis musicianâs preparation for the concert came from listening to Led Zeppelinâs tracks on the flight to Philadelphia. âI didnât rehearse when I got there, but I listened to âStairway To Heavenâ on Concorde,â he said. âI arrived and went to the caravans, and Robert said: âJimmy Page is belligerentâ.â
ÂNME (Tom Skinner) needs to update this article, as we can clearly see all kinds of errors. Firsthand, Everyone knows Martinez was the bassist brought in for Live Aid and Tony Thompson (R.I.P.) was the drummer. Donât get me started with other incorrect articles from recent publications.

(saw them two years ago in Atlanta)
cool to see their former guitarist back in the live touring group for now and to see a new drummer (ex Thornley drummer).
The Intro (First minute) has an homage to Led Zeppelinâs, âIn The Lightâ.Â

Then that settles it, BobDobbs is my longtime forum nemesis aka IpMan. I know exactly how our meeting would go. In fact, here it is. I am watching you look for the money stolen from Led Zeppelin at the Drake Hotel back in 1973 when BobDobbs shows up.

WVH has successfully built upon the legacy of his dadâs band (playing bass there at the end), but has very skillfully created his own vision / thing (much like Dave Grohl has done going from Nirvana to Foo Fighters; making accessible hard rock). Cool live footage. Iâm enjoying his cd, too!
