...I think Jimmy appears to be bit "older" in this photo to be 1980, although not entirely sure as compare to 1980.

Jimmy is front of Silver Dream Racer Poster....

The Poster appears to a 1980 Poster, however,

1983 Arms Tour U.S. December 1983 - by the looks of Jimmy this is also possible?

    Brush with rock stardom

Courtesy of Flid, the guy in the middle. Photo was taken on the tarmac in Kathmandu before their flight to see Mt. Everest. On the left is Rob Halpern, the famous rock photographer, and the one and only Jimmy Page, is on the right.

    365 Steps

From the bottom of the 365 steps up to the Monkey Temple. Jimmy Page is probably wandering around somewhere nearby though I didn't believe my eyes when I thought saw him. I found out later that he had indeed been around.

  3. Seems to suggest they had not quite called it a day upon return from the USA in June. An October '68 USA tour? That's a plot twist we shall also have to look into a bit further. Nice contribution to the thread.

..."Grant first billed the Band as Jimmy Page and the Yardbirds, and took them to Scandinavia for a short tour to play them in. On their return, Grant explains, they "struggled" into a few dates in Britain. It was then he chose to leave for America."

    ...addendum..

"Cream’s “farewell tour” consisted of 22 shows at 19 venues in the United States between 4 October and 4 November 1968, and two final farewell concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 November 1968."

....It is possible to plan a full Oct.'68 tour by Grant initially, but with Cream in the U.S. for Final dates as above, change of plans...

SAJ, Joseph posed some questions to Eric Clapton in Singapore as part of press present back in the 90's, as Joseph told me in his emails, a while back...

I don't know any further details, (except that Clapton was quite impressed) or photos if there are any...

  6. Great show last night in Kitchener. Here's some snapshots:

I brought my JP Telecaster which Tony used for How Many More Times:

....and I bought my Jimmy Page Magazines, all in his Glory, the White Dragon Suit'77  !! Right here in this Town, immortalized forever with my Zep Years '74-'81

Thanks you for extra extra beautiful photos!!!!

  7. Outstanding! So the wedding was held in Kenmare, not Cork, which is apparently where Roy Harper resides these days. I note Kenny doesn't mention Robert & Jimmy having attended the actual wedding, nor Michael Lee having joined Robert & Jimmy for the wedding reception/celebration jam, though I was reliably informed Michael had joined them. I will reconfirm as much of this as possible to be true.

....one more contact list, this is directly Tom Kenny Lighting Design:
