I went to the music store and the Orange was already put away and locked up. The owner was kind enough to tell me to come back later and he'd have it out for me to ogle over....man, I was drooling. I touched it thinking how many times Jimmy did...there's even a cig burn in it, LOL!
.......Beautiful Pic, speaks volumes......there are many ways to feel the Presence of Jimmy........

.....I see, you went shopping last night.... :D
"Trading Licks
Perhaps the most spontaneous part of the Zep Stage show was when Page and Plant would trade off guitar and vocal licks. This usually occurred during "Dazed and Confused" or "Whole Lotta Love." Guitar World 1986...

I would imagine the Rob3ert thing was purely for publicity..it got his name in the papers.
I spoke to Bill Bonham today and he told me his version of the Obstweedle story..can anybody give me a brief "official" version for comparison.
.....Hope to hear more about the Obstweedle story......
As for his publicity name Rob3ert, I am analysing his ancestory....Robert's Grandfather, father, and himself are 3 Roberts.... "Rob-3ert"..........

As I have said before my main interest in searching out the early days of Slade and in the course of my search I have come across bits and pieces relating to Mr Plant..here's a classic example..The 'Nbetweens article was the thing I was after but by coincidence there's a nice Band of Joy ad.
BTW Carole Williams was secretary at the Astra agency and one of her memories of Rob3ert was having to 'phone him to come and collect his wages.
...thank you....Robert Plant is not billed separately in this add, interesting...He was still in BOJ around this time.....and it looks like there is no information as to why Robert Plant chose ROB3ERT...
As for Ms. Williams she certainly was very efficient...I am so thankful to her that our Beloved ROBERT PLANT got paid....phew!!!!!!! :D
...and those personal items, for the girls for a nominal fee?, .......hmmmm :D
Thank you again for the fascinating journey to all the Clubs...yep!! le$$ was more, a lot more.........

I hadn't realized he had his name in front of the Band of Joy at one point.
...and in CAPITAL LETTERS........ looks like Exclusive Engagement...... :D
Thanks to all for contributing to this very informative and entertaining thread.... :D

Plumpton Place Caretaker (1974)
I could be mistaken, but as I recall this man's name is Pat and he was Jimmy's caretaker
at Plumpton Place.
Malcolm Dent was Jimmy's caretaker at Boleskine House:

....Steve thank you for the beautiful photos and equally beautiful story. I also recall Jimmy traveling with his personal Butler at one time........any info/Photos?.....

The Look
"Exclusive peak inside Peter Grant's 70s domain"
http://rockpopfashion.com/blog/?p=62
The job took nearly two years, at a time when the 6ft 5in Grant (who died in 1995) was travelling the world with the biggest-selling rock group of all time.”I told him I’d only do it if he didn’t come near,” Reeves says in THE LOOK. “I involved friends from the Royal College and we did everything from cutlery to textiles.

two of my faves in the one room
....and more........Pagey's Girl-Of-The Moment, Bebe Buelle, (in her book Rebel Heart) recalled G. Marx telling her she is a beautiful girl........what a party that must have been.......

Then, Clive Coulson also knew the moment when Scarlet Page was conceived at Bron-Yr-Aur,didn't he?
I personally think Bron-Yr-Aur session was one of the most romantic moments of Jimmy's life.
But why cannot we see any beautiful pictures from the time?
...You are very right...Clive did indeed witnessed some beautiful moments of Led Zeppelin History... I wish there were more photos of beloved Roadies, they are definitely a world of their own...
Later Mods lineup; Neil Reynolds, Wayne Reynolds, Kevin McNeil, Clive Coulson, John Bisset

Steve, thank you for all the pieces so far...I really loved the Military Fashion of the 60's and Adolph Hitler Historic Piece...fascinating indeed. Your hard work and dedication to the Mysteries thread is always, always... loved, valued and much appreciated. I have so far enjoyed and gained knowledge from the entire history of this thread...again, thank you ever so much. So many of my questions have already been answered in this thread...You never know, so many may arise.....either way, fascinating.....
Thank you...

Very nice and interesting Planet Page! Thanks for sharing
...You welcome...as you know I mentioned earlier, He went With Pagey to "collect" Miss P. She must be doubly confused...Clive is very classy/handsome.... :D

I know there are more pics of Clive, but finding them is another story. I don't look on this as "my" thread and its great to see any kind of contribution like this.
...No prob's...I was simply relying on the experience/knowledge of veteran members, but here it is the topic continues...some more pic's/info. (Clive has very impressive bio as per your previous post...)
Dark Ages 1965 L to R: Mick Sibley, Clive Coulson, Vaughan Stephens, Ian Thompson and Darryl Keogh. Line-Up: Clive Coulson (Vocals) Mick Sibley (Lead Guitar / Harmonica / Vocals) Darryl Keogh (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals) Vaughan Stephens (Bass Guitar) Ian Thompson (Drums)

At the end of 1966, the call of the advertising world took the third brother into the family business, so without Owen, the group decided to disband. Kevin McNeil reformed the Mods in Hamilton, enticing Clive to join him for a short while, before Clive moved to England where he became a roady and eventually road manager for Led Zeppelin. Meanwhile the Campbell's advertising business turned into a very successful international venture.

R.I.P. Clive Coulson....
Any pictures?....I can't find any....
Further to his technical duties, he also accompanied Page, one night, to the alluring premises of Miss P.
She writes...."I'm with the Band," Page arrived in a limo with his roadie Clive ...and I fainted at the very sight of him........

...This is a great thread...I didn't know it existed...I was thinking about starting one
Thanks to Knebby for starting this long before.....

Then years later he visited Sonny Boy's grave in Tutwiler, MS, not long before I drove past it. All these connections everywhere.
...that is very interesting sighting. Both Robert and Jimmy were very lucky to share music with him...he died shortly after that in 1965....RIP Sonny Boy Williams........

I wanted to find some info about the Crawling King Snakes so I thought I'd check on the official Led Zep site and found this thread..I was suprised to find that their is little or no stuff about Rob3erts early career.
The following article is worth a read.
...Thanks for the amazing historic pieces...I like what Robert said in the article...we are always searching for something....Robert, keep it going just like that, there is no stopping you!!!
a bit more on Sonny Boy Williamson
"On 1965 Sonny Boy Williamson played in Birmingham and Robert Plant stole an Harmonica ,to entry in "phisycal contact" with his idol."
