  1. I love AC/DC. I have all their albums and am a huge fan. Here's something I just gotta say. My mom was talking to my brother on the phone tonight about a Doors exhibit at the RNR Hall Of Fame that we wanna see before it closes and he had the nerve to say that The Doors are overrated and all of their songs sound exactly the same. What!!! My mom and dad both gladly defended them and then he said that The Doors are just like AC/DC in that once you've heard one song you've heard them all. And he thinks Angus Young is an overrated guitar player. I'm aware that everyone has an opinion but my brother is one of the most opinionated people I've ever known. My mom told him since when did he become a rock critic and that he listens to shit like the deftones and rap music. :D Thank God I have pretty cool parents. B)

I remember reading in an interview with Keith Richards about how he felt performing with Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC on stage. Keith's reply was that "THEY ARE CRAZY SONS A BITCHES!" ROCK ON!

If this keeps up, we're going to see a lot more of electric cars or those little cars that look like Tonka toys. I shouldn't knock it, there's a nine month waiting list for those little cars. ROCK ON!

  3. foo fighters-in your honor

Good choice! I'm listening to a rare Internal Line Feed Recording of THE BEATLES LIVE AT SHEA STADIUM 15 AUGUST 1965 on CD. This recording sounds completely different from the ones that you are accustomed to hearing. This recording is the best quality that I have ever heard of the SHEA STADIUM concert. ROCK ON!

  4. Me too, I'M IN LOVE WITH PETRA NEMCOVA! She is one FOXY LADY! Is just too bad that there are so many beautiful women on this earth but you can only marry one. Then again, I'm sure that women are saying the same thing about men. Hmmm.... I think I'll be a Mormon! ROCK ON!

I better get off this topic and stop looking at all of these beautiful women or else I will not get any sleep tonight. ROCK ON!

  5. Petra Nemcova - I love this chick!

    NAT.jpg

Another beautiful picture of Natalie again! "dragster," read one of my other posts on Natalie under this topic on page 51, it should blow your mind. ROCK ON!

  7. I love her!

Ok "DeepBlackZeppelin," I'M GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND! One of my dearest friends, the late great Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson, introduced me to Natalie Wood two months before she drowned at Catalina Island in 1981. I had a great two hour conversation with her with RJ in attendance. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. My then ex-Girlfriend Donna met her also and it was like looking at twins. I was so saddened and heartbrokened when Natalie died that it took me years to get over it. I was even more saddened when Donna passed away in 2001. ROCK ON!

  8. I love her!

How's it going "DeepBlackZeppelin?" I take it that you are a Natalie Wood fan also. I LOVE NATALIE WOOD! She's my most favorite actress of all-time in the whole wide world! My ex-Girlfriend Donna whose now deseased, looked EXACTLY like her. ROCK ON!

  9. What made you happy today?

For me, getting more shopping done, complete for Xmas.

    My morning coffee.

Seeing great pics of the band at the 02.

For me personally, it was drinking a lot of coffee this morning to get rid of my enormous hangover from last night. I feel so much better now since I hugged the porcelain. YOU ASKED! ROCK ON!

  10. Phone calls from happy people made me happy today!

    Stay happy, it's healthier.

Always let the under toe know what the right toe is doing!

The little things like drinking with my daughter (One of my drinking buddies!) at the local pub. ROCK ON!

How's it going all? Right now, I am listening to the bootleg THE BEACH BOYS UNSURPASSED MASTERS VOL. 17 (1966-1967) 3-CD SET which is the SMiLE SESSIONS. It sounds pretty damn good. ROCK ON!

    Favorite Drummers:

    4. Neil Peart

    5. Joey Kramer (not the greatest in technical skill, but he's damn good live and I love his style)

I like your lists, however, I wish that Stevie Ray Vaughan could have made the list. ROCK ON!

  13. Isn't her name Pat? I heard the same thing that she never remarried. She really loved John. I know how she feels, I lost my wife also and I never remarried. Its really hard to replace the dead. ROCK ON!

I'm sorry, I now realize that Pat's name is on the heading! DUH! ROCK ON!

  14. Welcome,

-She is still alive, lives in the same house, did not remarry, and I do not know her relationship status with RP. The Bonham estate receives royalties, and recent pics are around here somewhere - probably in the O2 reunion thread. Use the search function.

  15. Just wondered if many people collected stuff? I collect Programs, Key rings, Badges, Cuff links and Bootlegs and other stuff. If so whats your prized possession as well?

My prized one is my Original 75 Earls Court Program that my Sister gave me that was my Late Brother-in-Laws.

WOW! I own so much Memorabilia that I wouldn't know where to begin. I did not see the 75 Tour but I did manage to purchase the 75 U.S. Tour program. I also managed to purchase the 77 U.S. Tour program after attending two ZEPPELIN shows. I attended both the 23 June 1977 at the Forum in L.A. and 23 July 1977 at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California. I own both ticket stubs proudly to this day. I managed to purchase the KNEBWORTH 79 Program but it wasn't cheap to say the least. I own excellent picture and sound quality of KNEBWORTH 4 August 1979, KNEBWORTH 11 August 1979, EARL'S COURT 24 May 1975, EARL'S COURT 25 May 1975 and SEATTLE KINGDOME 17 July 1977 on DVD. I purchased ZEPPELIN'S recent reunion on DVD by Third Eye Productions from 10 December 2007 at the 02 Arena in London. Considering that it was recorded from the audience, the footage was not bad at all. As for Vinyl, I am the original owner of LED ZEPPELIN II that was released in the ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING series by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. You have to hear it to believe it. Like I said, I have numerous collectibles on ZEPPELIN as well as many other great legendary bands that I would not know where to begin. ROCK ON!

  16. No, there won't be. Talent like that only comes once, it's a shame.

When JANIS sang, she gave it all to you! She actually bared her soul before your very eyes with such power and emotion that you couldn't help but feel hypnotized into her pain. You actually felt with her when you heard her sing. There are so many songs by JANIS that moves me like no other singer ever would or ever could again. I'm talking about songs such as "Me And Bobby McGee," "Cry Baby," "A Woman Left Lonely," "Trust Me," "Mercedes Benz," "Bye Bye Baby," "Piece Of My Heart," "Summertime" and "Ball And Chain" to name a few. Those songs had power because she sang them from the heart as only she knew how to do it. There was NOTHING phony about her songs at all! ROCK ON!
