Well I was lucky tonight as I got a front row seat to "Unwigged and Unplugged" at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA. A very entertaining show with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer (plus keyboardist, CJ Vanston) doing acoustic songs from This Is Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind, and Waiting for Guffman. They did several skits including reading what NBC wanted to censor the first time they aired Spinal Tap. They also played some short films the band members have made over the years and ones that fans had sent in from around the world (including a fantastic Lego one of "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight "). I was impressed on how well they played and their short jams were tight. They also did an Q & A with the crowd. Very fun event. BTW, I got one of McKean's guitar picks. Here's the setlist:

“The Colors of My Life”

“Hell Hole”

“Never Did No Wanderin’”

“Clam Caravan”

“Bitch School”

“Loco Man”

“This Bulging River”

“All the Way Home”

“Blood on the Coal”

“(Listen to the) Flower People”

“Corn Wine”

“The Majesty of Rock”

"All Backed Up"

“Stonehenge”

“Start Me Up” (Folk cover of the Stones' classic)

“Cups and Cakes”

“A Mighty Wind”

“Big Bottom”

“The Good Book Song” (featuring McKean’s wife, Annette O’Toole)

“A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow” (featuring McKean’s wife, Annette O’Toole)

“Rainy Day Sun”

“Sex Farm”

Encores:

“Gimme Some Money”

“Old Joe’s Place”

“The Colors of My Life/Heavy Duty"
