The Pagemeister Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 It seems the draw for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is about the celebrities who attend every year, just as much as the bands themselves. Although it still hasn't been officially announced by promoters, Billboard.com reports sources have confirmed the 2010 installment of the three-day festival will take place from April 16 to 18 in Indio, Calif. If you're even remotely thinking of attending Coachella next year, now's the time to start booking your hotels before you have to bare-knuckle box Jake Gyllenhaal for a room. Hotel nightmares are but one aspect of the pricey three-day fest, with concert-goers frequently staying in shifty desert hotels after celebrities take the more respectable locations. Last year, notable Coachella attendees included Paris Hilton, David Hasselhof, Chloe Sevigny and Kirsten Dunst. Although a line up hasn't been announced, there are already rumours surfacing that newly reunited Pavement plan to tour next year and may be one of the headliners. That would make Coachella the band's first show before they headline and curate All Tomorrow's Parties in Minehead, England in May and play four shows at New York City's Central Park Summerstage in September. Other rumoured reunions at Coachella 2010 include Blur, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, Neu, Uriah Heep, Joy Division and The Beatles. Quote
