I also saw some photos of him wearing that and also some photos os Jimmy wearing such shoes and i think also Elvis!! I find it kind of strange to see man wear such shoes!! So for those who were around at that time, was that star fashion and if so, did many stars wear those or just a few, or did perhaps regular guys also wear these kind of shoes?? Thanks for answers!! Sometimes, they had concealed lifts, so that the wearer's feet were actually about 15 inches above floor level. Kind of like stilts, in fact.
