I wasn't expecting that, usually when the theremin is discussed, the references are just cheesy 50's science fiction movies and the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations. On a side note: I saw Sting perform with the Royal Philharmonic at Chastain Ampitheatre in Atlanta last night and he used a Theramin for effect in the mid section/solo of "Moon over Bourbon Street".
