Strider
I've had the pleasure of seeing Tuvan throat-singers twice in concert. An incredible sound they create.
reswati
Here is another throat singing Zep cover by Yat-Kha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYYWxW0sh6o This cover actually made me discover the whole Khoomei/Kargyraa/Sygyt scene. Possibly the most difficult vocal styles in the world. @ Strider: did you happen to see Huun Huur Tu, since they are amazing. Missed my chance to see them perform with the Bulgarian Voices while being stuck for 2 hours in a traffic jam.

Missed my chance to see them perform with the Bulgarian Voices while being stuck for 2 hours in a traffic jam. Great stuff and quite diverse musically. Vocally, it would remind me if Tom Waites was singing Zeppelin songs.
