JimmyPageZoSo56 Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Hey guys I have a question; Is it easier or better to rehair a bow (which I've heard is about $60 but i could be wrong) or just buy a new one? I play in a band that pretty much all we do is Zeppelin. We play most of their live stuff or the way they play it. Among these numbers is Dazed and Confused. I just buy cheap(er) bows, ones that cost $60. I should know this but constantly forget; Jimmy used a viola bow correct? Those are two types of bows: French and German. I think the German one has the curve to it and Page used the French one. So my question is, should I just buy a new bow for the same price as rehairing my current bows or should I just continue to buy $60 dollar bows?
