antneed
I haven't read anywhere, nor was I lucky enough to actually attend the show, but did anyone mention Bonzo at all during the show? Like a triubute or "here's to you Bonzo" etc. ? Thanks....
NickZepp
There was a story by Plant about how Bonzo used to sing Hendrix and hew as the best Hendrix impersonator in England in the late 60s. He would sing 'The Wind Cries Mary' The intro mentioned Bonzo also.
airwaves
I don't recall Bonzo being mentioned by name, but after one particular bout of hectic drumming (I regret I can't remember which track) Jason stood up and slapped the top of his left arm hard 2 or 3 times, as if 'touching' a tattoo he had their. Is there one to his dad there?

dragster
Bonzo and Ginger Baker perhaps the 2 biggest rock drumers out there
FireOpal
Robert mentioned Pat as well. And he told a story about when Jason was a wee lad. Random bit, tho you didn't ask: Robert quoted a Doors lyric from Texas Radio & the Big Beat, "Out here on the perimeter there are no stars." Don't ask me what it related to, because it had nothing to do with anything else he said. Maybe he was asking the spirit of Jim Morrison to tell Bonham he said hi.
