TypeO Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) FWIW, I figured this out. Not sure what causes it, but sometimes if you post a YouTube link, it shows as a hyperlink only. When this happens, just highlight the link, and select the REMOVE LINK icon, which will leave the URL text only, sans hyperlink, which the forum software then recognizes to tag as a video. See graphic below. http://youtu.be/SOOgbgRV3Ug The REMOVE LINK icon only appears when you've highlighted an actual link. To re-cap: When inserting a YouTube video, if it shows as a hyperlink (blue underlined), simply highlight the link, and select REMOVE LINK, and the video will display normally within the comment box, instead of just linking to the video. I explained in detail, and even provided a screenshot to detail how to correct this. Problem solved, if you just take a second to look. When using Chrome (which I don't like) the videos post no problem. I'm anxious to see if I can do this work-around so I don't have to sign into Google Chrome just for this website.
