kirchzep27 Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 After hearing this i would have thought that jimmy page would have explored more protopunk with led zeppelin, beyond communication breakdown. They did include alot of 50s rock in the whole lotta love medleys and had that 75 soundcheck, so you'd think they would have explored that more with their own original material. Although with the more compact guitar riff /drum patterns, zeppelin brand of rock they were doing in 78, like wearing and tearing, ozone baby, fire and the layover track walters walk, maybe they were headed in that direction. Bands have made whole careers on that sound alone, it sounds like simple basic rock, but its a whole other world of music. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
