In the march 2013 issue of Classic Rock Magazine they have a buyers guide to Robert Plants solo albums ,they choose to include both albums with Jimmy Page ,plus the Alison krauss album ,yet ignore manic nirvana , fate of nations, dreamland and sixty six to Timbuktu

they were

essential classics

principle of moments

superior

Alison krauss

mighty rearranger

pictures at eleven

now and zen

good

band of joy

walking into clakesdale

honeydrippers

avoid

shaken n stirred

they have to have a avoid when they did pink Floyd it was ummagumma , probably their finest work

I would have gone

superior

principle of moments

pictures at eleven

sixty six to Timbuktu

manic nirvana

dreamland

good

band of joy

shaken n stirred

now and zen

Yeah, read the mag when it arrived yesterday. Surprised 'Manic Nirvana' or 'Fate of Nations' was not included in the ESSENTIALS or SUPERIOR listings...my personal favorite Plant albums although I still regularly play 'Principle of Moments' and 'Pictures at Eleven'
