No, I'm a big boy. I made the pick, I pay the price. I'm out. Good luck to the rest of you...may the best prognosticator win.

We would prefer you stay in. Its more fun and we would have a great fan like you with us. Your balance I cannot change. You are now at 0. I am awaiting my fate. Those pesky Cardinals are making my life miserable. The Bills deserved better today. Your Raiders probably did too

Tennessee and Jets are proof of why the bookies like football the best and nobody can hit four team parlays

jabe made out great with his Kansas City pick, heh heh...

That's because KC got to open against the worst team in the league - the Jacksonville Jackoffs. And jabe is a southern man...isn't it against the law to bet against a Southern team? ;)

Executive management at NFLZ Sportsbook has concluded Strider should be back on board with a full complement of 1000 points.

Said management has also concluded that any member who lost their wager on week one is also back to a full complement of 1000 points.

To not punish anyone who won their pick week one, management concluded any winner of week one can wager 250 points on one contest through week number 8 during the regular season. If the pick goes against them that week, the contestant is not docked any points. The contestant *must indicate* that this is their "bonus" pick. You could wager 500 points, etc., on your "bonus" week. If your pick loses, your loss is 250 points, not the 500.

Man, I was born in a 'burb of KC.

I'm a transplant to the Deep South.

Even without that, some games/spreads jump out at you, and this one was glaring to me.

Well, the Texans won, but it wasn't the ass whippin' I was hoping for. Now I believe I'm sitting at 800 points.

Houston did not cover and neither did the Rams so we both lost even though our teams won,. Simple. We are now sitting here with $800/. $800 more than poor Strider :heartbreaker: :P Our money has to count but let more in or start over if you so inclined? Ill go along with anything,.

See a couple posts up how management responded.

Any losing wagers this week are null and void.

Everyone is at least 1000 points again.

Winning pick wagers week #1 are included to their 1000 point total, plus have a one time "bonus" allowed up until week #8.

Any Questions?

So are you going to post all the games and lines so there is no confusion?

Week #1 worked pretty good except for some shitty picks.

Pick the game of your choice and list the line at the time you post.

Lines vary by service a little and definitely can change through the course of the week by the same service.

I have no issue with participants using the source they want to, unless people want to stick with a definitive source. That's cool too.

Whatever... we need to settle into regular set routine soon.

My thanks to the Management.

Lot of scary games this week, but with my second life, I'll tread a little more carefully.

1000

Carolina -3 @ Buffalo

250 Buffalo

Thatta boy!!!! Thats what I want to see. Now I am going to pick the Bills at some point but can only do so once right? You did pick a tough game. But its a very strange place for Carolina. And Buffalo's D looks revamped. I am impressed and Byrd should play this week. I like them to win also but I have to look at the other games and one really sticks out. Dallas. I like them on the road in this situation. But I am not sure.

I was considering taking the Niners & the 3 points but Seattle can be a real bitch at home, so Rams it is. :bubble:

I like your Rams bet but of course its risky as Atlanta has been a monster at home. Historically the Rams have owned them but that is going back to better days. The Rams were always my second favorite team to the Bills, when they were in LA especially. I wish they would bring back the original uniforms. Wish you luck. I stuck my neck out with Ponder, Peterson and the Norsemen. Cannot see this Bears team beating two good teams in a row. I had them last week too. My other pick would have been Dallas over KC.

Rick, you can pick your Bills every week if you want.

Go for the game that you believe looks best to you. If it's the Bills erery week they play, and you like the spread, by all means, pick your Bills.
