South African singer Alice Phoebe Lou was making her first appearance in Leeds, and rock legend Plant commemorated the occasion by gatecrashing the party. Lou was playing her first Leeds gig in support of new album Paper Castles. A 'special guest' was promised by Lou, and the crowd was shocked when it was none other than rock royalty and former Led Zeppelin frontman Plant. Plant was playing as part of Saving Grace, his new band. Suzy Dian, Tony Kelsey, Matt Worley and Oli Jefferson are the other band members.
