The Only Way To Fly
Any thoughts on this 1970 LZ III Singapore release? It's up for auction/BIN for $1,200 USD. I asked the seller for a matrix number; also asked if this was an unofficial pressing like the ones from Taiwan but have not heard back from them. I couldn't find any info on Discogs either. Appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
SteveAJones
Almost certainly an unofficial/pirated release of the original album. Personally, I'm skeptical it was pressed in Singapore and that it dates to 1970.

My additional thoughts are I'm skeptical because I can't find any other examples of albums pressed by this label. If the seller is not actually in Singapore that would be another red flag. Singapore is such a small market, or at least it was at the time. It's hard to believe there was a label there at the time pressing pirated copies of Led Zeppelin albums. On the other hand, Jimmy did perform there with The Yardbirds in 1967 so it's plausible the item is legit. Personally, I hope it is because it's a neat item but there are no findings to support that it is.
SteveAJones
Perhaps inquire with William Llyod Gibson through his blog. If anyone knows about the World Records label, he would! https://drgblogsupreme.wordpress.com/2014/03/22/interview-with-the-elvis-of-singapore-huang-qing-yuan/
