benet02
Hello everyone! I would like to have your opinion on the possible value of a Led Zeppelin III Mispress: It is a Led Zeppelin III vinyl, German pressing from the 70s. The cover is the wheel as usual, and the labels are written correctly. However, when you play the vinyl, on all the side A, it is not Led Zeppelin, but is it Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's side A album "Deja Vu". The vinyl itself is in very good shape, overall VG+. I can't find anywhere on the internet the very similar product. On this link: https://recordmecca.com/item-archives/led-zeppelin-iii-previously-unknown-uk-1st-pressing-variation-with-led-zeppelin-and-crosby-stills-nash-young-labels/ there is a quite similar product, except, here, it is written on the label that side B is Crosby stills nash & young. But on mine it is not written anywhere on the labels. Many many thanks in advance for your help, cause no one could ever tell me any idea of how much it could be worth.... SteveAJones
A 1990's release of Houses of the Holy with a Green Day record on one side and supposedly sold for over $1000: htps://www.discogs.com/Green-Day-Led-Zeppelin-Dookie-Houses-Of-The-Holy/release/7184799 That price seems way out of line but all it takes is one person with a lot of money and little sense. Pb!
At least a hundred (I will buy it for that), but it's hard to gauge. I have a US copy of Houses where one side is Tonto's Expanding Headband: https://www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-Houses-Of-The-Holy/release/7767506 . I also have a German Trini Lopez album with one side that plays Led Zeppelin II: https://www.discogs.com/Trini-Lopez-Led-Zeppelin-Greatest-Hits/release/5713503 . Unfortunately I don't remember how much I paid for either, but probably right around $100.
