jimmie ray
Click on "my controls", look off to the left at the bank of options there....one will say edit avatar settings. They have some pre-loaded ones you can use, or if you're somewhat computer savvy you can load up your own. I was really suprised how easy it was, being such a computer doofus. It seems you can save just about any image, in a "my pictures" section - and drop it in the "my controls" section of the forum. I've even saved a few pictures that people posted here - thanks all! jimmie ray
and what means your avatar? It's a Fender guitar ad from the 70's. The characters are from Alice in Wonderland. I found it on a bass player forum, which I do not frequent, but was guided to.
lzfan715
You have to have the image saved on your computer. I'll show you how, if I can get my screencaps to work.
lzfan715
Okay, this should be pretty easy. I highlighted what you should click on. Step 1: Click on my controls, it's at the top of the page. Step 2: Click on edit avatart settings. It's on the left side of the page, under Personal Profile Step 3: Make sure the picture is saved on your computer in My Pictures. Click on the browse button, and pick the picture that you want. Then click on update avatar and it should be done. If this doesn't work pm me, and I'll try and help you. lzfan715
If you have photobucket, you can resize it. If you don't have photobucket, pm the picture and I'll resize it for you and send it back.
