jadester48 Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 I still don't buy the 4 1/2 hr long show... i have a LZ boot that lasts about 3.75 hours...i can quite believe they did a 4.5 hour show But Ringo was actually a damn good drummer. King of the Hill People Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 I think you have to give credit to Ringo for any drummer picking up the sticks since the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan show. I think in terms of technique there are many drummers that have a higher degree of skill then he but it was Ringo that people saw and said "I want to be a drummer."
