McSeven
Does anyone think that Pages use of the crybaby for his guitar style, made a lot of Zep songs great? I love his use of the crybaby and how he uses feedback in the sound sonically. Mc7

jimmie ray
Making words that spell out like the sound they make is fun! Can we try some more, based on Jimmy's guitar playing?
McSeven
Can anyone tell me about Jimmy being a sloppy player. I don't get the adjective describing his playing? Mc7
jimmie ray
Can anyone tell me about Jimmy being a sloppy player. I don't get the adjective describing his playing? Mc7 Many of the most acclaimed guitar players seem to play only a certain style for the most part, it seems to me. I would even include some of my favorites (Gilmour, Clapton, SRV) so it's no knock on anyone. Jimmy is the most innovative, so he is the most challenged at delivering his art. Anything that's drug or age related is another subject, I think. Hope that helps?
BlackDog71
oh yeah. Especially on 'No Quarter' when he comes in, love that. "Skwaaaa-aa-aaaawaawawa.." Oh yea.....great example. I loved his usage of it. No one made it better or more enjoyable than Mr. Page!
