  1. Loved watching the Aggies pull it out against Auburn. It wasn't pretty, but a win nonetheless! (Hi everyone! I haven't posted in eons...Hope everyone is well. )
  2. Foo Fighters new album - Sonic Highways. It's streaming on iTunes radio and it's awesome!!
  3. Deb! I'm so glad you had a good time at the concert. I was thinking about you on Friday night and wishing I was there with you. Regarding the Jack Black comments, I was actually at the Kennedy Center Honors and I thought JB was really funny. His introduction was much longer than what aired on television. He came across as a true fan of LZ. Having said that, I can understand why Robert was annoyed by his comments. "There's one or two musicians who always kind of keep popping up who generally massacre the songs that they touch." I wonder if this was aimed at Foo Fighters for but
  4. This is a great thread, Dave! I love all of your details and all of the photos. I haven't been to Paris since 1994. Clearly, I must plan a trip soon! It's a wonderful city. It appears you had an awesome vacation!
  5. I'm glad you're having so much fun, Sean! I LOVE Boston!! And, your photos are awesome!
  6. Aww Strider! We had tons of fun with you! I'm glad you enjoyed Houston. It may be hot down here, but we are a friendly bunch (for the most part). Safe travels back to Cali, my friend! I can't wait to hear about the show on Wednesday. I'm jealous!
  7. Great pics, Strider!! It's great that you're so tall and could see over everyone. In hindsight, I sooo wish I would have made arrangements to go to the Austin show tonight. Note: I can't figure out how to edit my previous post, but I meant to say the incense was groovy, not that "I" was groovy...lol. I'm way too old to be groovy, believe me!
  8. Wow! It sounds like you had a great time, Deb! I'm so looking forward to this show here in August. Thanks for posting the photos and videos!
  9. Great pics, Melanie! I loved the effect of the incense. I was very groovy! I think he was drinking a beer during the encore...a well deserved beer after the show he put on. Here is a pic of Melanie, Strider and me after the show. It's hot down here in Texas, but a great time was had by all!
  10. The show was fantastic!! Melanie got some really great shots from the front row. Robert was moving and grooving and he sounded better than ever. It was so much fun meeting up with friends from here on the LZ forum! We had a blast!
  11. Have fun tonight, Deb!! I can't wait for the show here in August. I loved the 2010 JBLZE show and I saw Heart last year and they were awesome so I'm really looking forward to this combo. For me, today is RP day eve! Woohoo!
  12. Oh, and what a beautiful voice it is, Deb! June 21st can't get here soon enough.
  13. Thanks Walter! We sure did! That was so much fun, Deb! I can't wait to see Robert again. Congrats on your front row tix!
  14. Got my tickets for the Houston show!! Front row of the Mezzanine...behind the SRO area. Although, I may ditch my seat and mosey on down to the stage. I'm so excited!
  15. Thanks for posting this, Virginia! I've been wondering how it turned out. It's absolutely perfect!
  16. Oh, how I love this thread! Thanks to all of you who post these photos of this gorgeous man!
  17. It’s nice to read everyone’s take on the show. They did edit out a lot! The show was about 3½ hours long. (7:30 - 11:15, with a 15 minute intermission) There was some "dead" time while they were changing out some of the equipment in between each musical act. The Zeppelin musical tribute was easily 45 minutes long (with NO commercials!). All of the intros were much longer. Robert DeNiro went into more detail about his history with Dustin Hoffman. Tina Fey, who was hysterical, did a bit about Dave’s time at NBC and how he was the only person on earth who could go on TV each night and make fun
  18. Wasn't that awesome!? It was great seeing the guys reactions, which was something I couldn't see at the show. The edited out Black Dog by Foo Fighters and BIGLY by Kid Rock. Still, it was a fantastic tribute!
  19. Thanks Strider! Enjoying the day with friends and family is my birthday present. Oh, that and diamond earrings from the hubby.
  20. Here are a few pics from the gig last night: Photo by: Jim Chapin Photography Photo by: Andy Langer Photo by: Andy Langer Photo by: Andy Langer I would have LOVED to have been there!
  21. You have some good timing, Mel! This Kanye set is about to do me in. I really want to hang on until the end but I just don't know if I can make it. I think I'm getting old and I'm clearly very unhip because this is just awful noise to me.
  22. Thanks everyone! For whatever reason, the pic is upside down on my iPad and right side up on my laptop...go figure. I hope it's right side up for all of you!
  23. I loved the Who set!! Roger's unbuttoned shirt was a little distracting to me. He does look great for his age though! And he sounds pretty good too!
  24. I think this has been great! I loved EV with Pink Floyd...and I loved Bon Jovi! I'm still waiting for Dave and Krist and Pat and.....Paul, should be interesting.
  25. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing this. I adore Krist Novoselic...it will be nice to see him playing again! Obviously, there are better voices out there to sub for Kurt Cobain...imo, but this should be interesting.
