  1. Listening to For Your Life and appreciating how mad it must be to be a drummer. I can only imagine playing along with that hundreds of times, and remembering the time you really KILLED it.

Shout out to all the mad drummers in here and out there.

This is soooooooooo RICH!!!!  Everybody on the right told him this would happen and he welcomed it now he's complaining about it????

If a republican said what he says in this video they would be cancelled immediately and have been.

    That's absolutely fucked up.

74 MILLION+ Trump voters in 2020. Love him or hate him, I think we can all agree the cut off # for someone to be accurately considered a cult figure is far less than 74 MILLION+. For example, in the 1970s the Children of God, argubly the most famous "cult", grew to over 130 communities across the globe and yet had little more than 10,000 dedicated members. I understand everything is relative -- Led Zeppelin were once considered a cult band -- but for the sake of argument I propose we set the cut off to be accurately considered a cult figure at 10,000 or less.

That's really interesting Steve. I'd say cult like behaviour applies. It applies to a LOT, and applies here.

Well, you may not be an American but you certainly have been drinking the Kool Aid the left has been passing out so my post stands.

Nah mate, I don't take to cults and drink the koolaid. The left has it's own insanity it doesn't seem to recognise or be able to deal with. Not anything like the Trump cult, but insanity none the less.

  5. If Biden has anywhere near a "McConnell episode" - or equivalent to it - or worse - it may be Trump is handed a win. I doubt it, but what is the stronger argument for "he  can win"? I think that is it, and it's possible, but unlikely.

Good luck Republicans. I hope you get what you vote for. I say that with ALL sincerity.

    I always will say....

I hope you get what you vote for.

  6. Nixon White House counsel John Dean in a CNN interview:

This is a chapter, we don't know how it's going to end,
but I certainly hope it ends with the facts carrying the sanctions they should.

"The facts carrying the sanctions they should."

    What a mad line.

  7. 2 questions mystery lovers regarding IMTOD at Earls Court.....

At one point it (at the gates of heaven, (drops) won't you let me in) looks like Robert drops to his knees as he seems to drop below the camera - I'm almost certain of it. Are there any pics of this? Seems like it would be a rippa shot to get and I don't ever recall having seen one.

When did Jimmy start doing the hand gesture at the breaks when he sweeps his playing hand left to right? I'm wondering if that was an idea born in rehearsals for the '75 tour???

    Cheers.

  8. Saw him when the JBLZE first came to Bris, he was really reserved and not in costume as he was backing Jason, not really trying to be the "front man" or focus. Still extremely impressive. He gets Jimmy's guitar sound/tone perfect and explores the songs like Jimmy used to (not as much obviously, no 5 minute solo's). The man is a GUN at what he does.

  9. Back from Sydney after a 5 day work trip. The outage on the weekend was 29 hours straight. Fucked me totally, but was a fun Sunday arvo on the piss with the team.

Great to be back in warm Brissie with my warmer missus.

Well won. You were (and are) clearly the better team. Just like Spain is to your girls. 😜
